It was confirmed last month that the reports about BLACKPINK working with Lady Gaga were real. Yet after Gaga delayed her album date, BLINKs were desperately trying to figure out just when we would all get the new song collaboration to hear.
Now, Lady Gaga officially announced the date for the album release. Here is what all of you should know about this collaboration with South Korea's phenomenal girl band, BLACKPINK!
The partnership track between BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga is called "Sour Candy," which certainly sounds great for the theme of "black meets pink" of the band.
The track appears on Chromatica, Gaga's latest album release.
So far, not much has been reported by either Lady Gaga or YG Entertainment about the album. One thing we know for sure is who did it: BloodPop, Madison Love, Burns, Rami and the phenomenal legendary singer herself Lady Gaga.
This just seems to be the entire list of producers, which contradicts the initial claim by BLINKs that Tommy Brown (who collaborated with some of the greatest hits by Ariana Grande) might have been engaged.
Brown recently spoke to BLACKPINK regarding his production and recording experience in the studio.
Before that, many have been asking if the Grammy-winning producer Ryan Tedder was fully associated. He announced in March that he will collaborate with BLACKPINK.
He also told the press that he was starting to work on a BloodPop track which would appear on the upcoming album from Lady Gaga.
"Sour Candy" is currently the shortest song on Chromatica as per one source on a music blog site. Nevertheless, no track lengths have yet been verified.
Fortunately, in less than a couple of weeks, we will all be able to purchase and figure it all out for ourselves. Chromatica is set to be launched on May 29, based on the most recent Lady Gaga's update today.
It would be the second biggest partnership with BLACKPINK. "Kiss and Make Up," a collab with British singer and songwriter Dua Lipa, was launched in October 2018 and was awarded as of that year's Silver rating in the united kingdom.
The 10th song on Lady Gaga's release will be "Sour Candy." Chromatica also includes two other big-name collaborations-"Rain on Me "with Ariana Grande, and" Sine From Above "with Elton John.
Gaga is definitely wasn't the first Western pop singer to join forces with a well-known South Korean celebrity, but she was the largest and also most famous singer in the Asian country to seek out a collaborator.
This generally goes the contrary, with Korean celebrities hiring American and British actors for appearances, which normally benefits both acts.
Titled "Sour Candy," the Chromatica song featuring Korean girl band Blackpink is not only a major step for the quartet, but it's also the most influential partnership between a Western artist and a Korean band. As well as the two sectors are moving nearer and nearer together, it is a pretty strong indication.
