Here's JYP Entertainment's full statement:

"Hello, this is JYP. We always thank My Day for always showing support for DAY6, and we apologize for the inevitable news ahead of their comeback.

Recently, some members complained of psychological anxiety and conducted a thorough examination, and a specialist found that they needed sufficient rest and stability.

After careful discussion with DAY6 members, we decided to temporarily suspend our activities as a whole team, including their upcoming album, in order to focus on our health recovery.

We ask for your understanding of the sudden suspension of our activities ahead of our new album, and we will do our best to make sure that we consider the health of our DAY6 members first and concentrate on our recovery.

We will notify you later regarding the resumption of team activities in the future. Please encourage and support DAY6 to fully recover as a team."

Upon the announcement, My Days, DAY6's fandom name, expressed concerns, cheered for them, and shared their gratefulness to the group via social media platforms by trending the hashtag #We_wait_for_DAY6 to affirm the members their undying support.

It is indeed unfortunate news for the fans who anticipated the album for several months. However, the health and safety of the members are still the top priority.

As DAY6 will be temporarily missing their fans as well, My Days are doing their best to send their love for the members in various ways. On May 11, DAY6's new track, "Zombie," will be dropped on different music platforms, which is included in their new album, "The Book of Us: The Demon."

Due to this, some fans prepared guidelines and tips to properly stream the new song of the band in return for their hard work to create music dedicated to their fans.

Furthermore, My Days are also encouraging the fandom to donate to mental health organizations in light of the current health status of the members, acknowledging their state and helping others who are experiencing the same anxiety problems.

On the other hand, fans praised JYP Entertainment for taking care of their artists' mental health and recognizing that it is as important as their physical health.

In 2019, TWICE's Mina also underwent the same health issue, and in response, JYPE let the female idol rest until her recovery. Currently, Mina has fully-recovered and is set to join the group's comeback as well, wherein their new track, "More and More," will be released in June.

For the past years, mental health isn't given enough weight, especially in the K-pop industry. However, as the citizens slowly became aware of the consequences of these issues, JYP Entertainment became considerate of their artists' health.

We are hoping for DAY6's full recovery!
