On May 20, DAY6's Jae revealed another side of their JYP Entertainment's founder, Jinyoung Park, or also known as J.Y. Park, through a screenshot of his recent conversation with him.
In the photo that the K-pop singer shared on his official Twitter account, fans were moved after reading a lengthy, heartwarming message from J.Y. Park dedicated to the lead vocalist and guitarist.
In the screenshot, the company's founder sent a text message to the Jae, saying, "I never knew I'd be listening to a song you composed for three days repeatedly," conveying his 'congratulations' to the singer.
DAY6's Jae then replied, expressing his grateful heart and, at the same time, apologized to J.Y. Park, following the unfortunate incident during their comeback.
The K-pop band member said sorry for not being able to promote on stage after releasing their new mini-album "The Book of Us: The Demon" on May 11. This was because some of the members showed symptoms of anxiety, prompting their agency to release an official statement the day before their comeback date, which announced that the band would sit out their schedules temporarily to take a rest. Nevertheless, their track and MV release for "Zombie" pushed through.
Jae then updated his fans about his health and affirmed everyone that he is doing better. In his message to J.Y. Park, he also said, "I'll get back better as soon as possible and get on the wheel soon!"
However, J.Y Park's second response to Jae is the one that has been making fans and netizens love and respect him a lot. With much sincerity, he told his artist to take his time to take care of his health, instead of pressuring him to get better the soonest so that he could go back to the stage again.
J.Y. Park comforted Jae and encouraged him, saying, "Your health and happiness are more significant than going to shows." He further told the singer leading a happy life is the point of living.
He added, "So, I prefer you experience these times and find the right answer to your life, instead of just chasing something you are not sure of."
These words of J.Y. Park didn't just comfort the singer, but fans also affirmed that his idols are in the right and even better company.
Fans and netizens, mainly JYP stans, expressed their respect to the agency giant founder through social media platforms and claimed that JYP Entertainment is indeed one of the better companies among other agencies.
Indeed, no entertainment company is perfect, but netizens are pointing out how JYPE genuinely cares for its artists, especially when it comes to their mental health.
On the other hand, My Days (DAY6's fandom name) are also rooting for their complete recovery as they cheer for the members through their heartwarming tweets and messages.
