Lady Gaga's "CHROMATICA," set to be released tomorrow (May 29), has been driving fans crazy (in a good way) towards the possible music video for "Sour Candy," the track that features BLACKPINK, and its release.
Since the confirmation of Lady Gaga and BLACKPINK's collaboration in one of the songs under the "Queen of Pop's" upcoming album, fans have been buzzing about whether a music video will be revealed as well after BLINKs considered the recent updates as hints.
According to eagle-eyed netizens on May 27, Lady Gaga's Instagram post revealed that the aforementioned single might have an MV and is rumored to be released on June 2. The snap is a screenshot of a weather forecast, with "CHROMATICA" as a theme.
Netizens took a closer analysis on the said photo and claimed that there is a connection between Lady Gaga's post and the pre-release info shared by Apple Music, with names of tracks and the length of music. Fans then realized that the numbers on the weather forecast are the track lengths on the new album!
(Stupid Love) Monday : 3:13

(911) Thursday: 2:52
(Rain On Me) Friday : 3:02

Due to this, fans are considering the huge possibility that an MV may grace our vision soon, and this has been the subject of online buzz. Certainly, BLINKs became ecstatic about the said speculation, adding that one of the members seems to be giving a hint, too.
Also, on May 27, BLACKPINK's Jisoo also shared an Instagram Story update, which shows a picture of her wearing a black shirt with the word "Tuesday" written on it. Also, Jennie was seen astonished over her bandmate going live on V Live. Fans were thinking that Jisoo was laying out clues for everyone to look forward to the major release of the much-anticipated "Sour Candy."
Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Lady Gaga revealed that she is delighted to have worked with the girls and is feeling excited about the outcome of their music collaboration. She added that she is "proud to be the fifth BLACKPINK member."
