JYP Entertainment released a warning on May 28 about pursuing legal action against persistent violation of DAY6's privacy.

Below is JYP Entertainment's official statement regarding this issue:

"Hello, This is JYP Entertainment.

Regardless of the fact that we have given many warnings about the protection and privacy rules for our musicians, they tend to be exposed to intense stress as a result of inappropriate behavior, such as chasing them around during their personal schedules and trying to enter or loiter outside their locations.

Repeated actions such as trying to contact others after they have made known their intentions, harassing them from a distance, trailing them around, or waiting for them in secret are a breach of rights and are subject to punishment under current laws. At the moment, we are collecting information about these abuses of the rights of our artists (which include surveillance tapes from our company building).

In the future, if the same people commit repetitive conduct that compromises the protection and privacy of our artists, whether they have issued alerts or are permanently banned, we are telling you that we will be pursuing legal action.

We sincerely ask you to allow DAY6 to actually appreciate their break and go about their everyday lives to come back even healthier than it has ever been."

DAY6 recently launched their latest album, "The Book of Us: The Demon," with their title track "Zombie." Both the album and the opening track snatched achievements on music charts domestically and internationally. A day before they dropped their comeback album, DAY6 revealed that they would immediately postpone the team's promotional activities to focus on their mental well-being.

JYP Entertainment released an official statement on May 10 regarding the members' psychological health and the well-anticipated return of the band.

"Hello, This is JYP Entertainment.

First, on the eve of DAY6's return, we would like to apologize profusely for bringing such disappointing news. The members recently displayed signs of psychological anxiety and underwent a thorough review. The medical recommendation advised them that they needed ample rest and relaxation.

After thorough talks between the company and the members, we agreed to immediately postpone team promotional activities, including promotional offers for their latest release, to concentrate on their health recovery.

We ask for your support, consideration in putting off promotions unexpectedly well before the new album is released. As a company, we pledge to do whatever we can to put the well-being of our artists first and always concentrate on improving their situation."

My Days, the fanbase name of DAY6, voiced their concerns at the official statement, cheered for them, and conveyed their gratitude to the community through social media channels by trending the hashtag #WeWaitForDAY6 to demonstrate their wholehearted loyalty to the idol band.

DAY6 was considered to not adhere to any limit of the genre. Their year-long project predominantly showed such a public image. Starting in 2017, the group would launch two songs each month. At the completion of the album, 25 tracks were added to their discography, styles of which varied from hard rock and energetic serenade-worthy tracks to mellow ballads.
