On June 12, Friday, it was announced by TVXQ's Changmin himself that he will be marrying his non-celebrity girlfriend in September. After the announcement, SM Entertainment has released a statement confirming the news, as well as providing more information concerning the wedding.
The statement reads,

We write this statement in relationto TVXQ's Changmin's announcement.
On September 5, Changmin will be marrying his girlfriend.
In consideration of the bride's non-celebrity life and members of her family, all details concerning the wedding, such as the specific location and time, will be private. We ask fans and reporters to respect the privacy of the couple.
Choi Changmin will continue to show his best in his activities as a TVXQ member and artists.
We would like to congratulate Choi Changmin for this new chapter in life.

In 2019, it was revealed that Changmin was dating a non-celebrity after being introduced to each other by a friend. It was reported that Changmin pursued her first and the two soon developed feelings for one another and are now happily engaged.
Changmin debuted with TVXQ in 2003 and made waves with songs such as "Hug," "Mirotic," and "Rising Sun." In April, he released his first solo album and proved his power as a solo singer.
