Woo Jiyoon wrote the lyrics, composed, and arranged the song "DODO" under the name AVOR. Listening to the lyrics, some fans interpreted it as an allusion to Ahn Jiyoung, with numerous references made that could be seen as targeting her former bandmate.

The lyrics read:

"Your endless desire and gress is the reason for the side out.

You pushed me away and took the set point.

Salud beer, tryna gaslighting.

My dreamlike work was burnt away, you rocked my boat.

It was a nightmare for me.

I'm the selfish one till the end.

The self-justification, saying that flowers will bloom tomorrow, was only for you.

I was worried about you.

I'm glad I got out.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

Beat it, I did."

Thought only 30-seconds long, numerous references could point that she was pertaining to Ahn Jiyoung and her time in BOL4.

First, she mentioned someone's endless desire and greed, which some netizens claim as a reference to Ahn Jiyoung deciding to promote as BOL4 even if it is now a solo act. She also mentioned someone pushing her away, which some fans theorize that Ahn Jiyoung pushed her out of the duo.

There are also references to BOL4's "Workaholic." The song includes the lyrics "Beers cheers," and "DODO" has "Salud beer." Salud in Spanish means cheers. As "Workaholic" is one of BOL4's most successful tracks, people think she is making references to her past times as a member of the duo. She also mentioned a living nightmare, which some listeners allege that her time in BOL4 could've been a living hell.

BOL4, also known as Bolbbalgan4, was a South Korean duo formed by Shofar Music. Their name stands for "blushing youth," where Woo Jiyoon represented the blushing, and Ahn Jiyoung represented the youth. The two were childhood friends who have shared a dream of bringing pure and honest music into the world - music that can be the voice of adolescence.

The duo first made their appearance on Superstar K6 in 2014 and made their official debut in 2016 with "Fight Day."

The company had stated that they, along with Woo Jiyoon and Ahn Jiyoung, discussed it carefully and for a long time to fully understand each other's thoughts, and respected Jiyoon's choice to leave the duo.

Ahn Jiyoung then shared a handwritten letter to fans, stating that Woo Jiyoon is an all-rounder entertainer and that she understands her departure from BOL4.

On June 16, Tuesday, she suddenly announced her solo debut on her personal Instagram account, saying it would be on June 18, Thursday, at 6:00 p.m. KST.
