SM Entertainment and the Seoul Philharmonic Ochestra previously made headlines when they unveiled their first collaboration track, "Red Flavor (Orchestra Ver.)." The collaboration showed the unique fusion of K-Pop and classical music, remixing "Red Flavor," which was originally sung by Red Velvet.

This time, they will be using "End of a Day," a song from the late SHINee member Jonghyun. They selected the song to show warm emotions, with the orchestra version maximizing the emotions in the lyrics.

Additionally. the orchestra version of "End of a Day" will be re-arranged by world-renowned string composer and film director Park In Young, who ensures that the already beautiful melody will be amplified through string instruments. The beginning of the orchestra version will sample Claude Debussy's "Claire de Lune" to exude a different charm.

Prior to the full tracks official premier, SM Entertainment has released a short clip on July 22, to give fans a sneak peek of "End of a Day (Orchestra Ver.)" through the SMTOWN and SM STATION channels.
