MONSTA X's Joohoney, also known as Jooheon, will be releasing a new solo mixtape on October 9.
Joohoney shared the news of his fourth mixtape, "PSYCHE", through a teaser image posted to MONSTA X's official social media accounts on the afternoon of October 2. The teaser image has a black background with Joohoney's name and the words "PSYCHE" and "COMING SOON" in bold, red lettering. The release date, October 9, 2020, is also included in the teaser.
Since then, the idol has been dropping numerous teaser photos for the mixtape to MONSTA X's social media accounts, hyping fans up for the release.
The mixtape is composed of seven new songs, all written and composed by Joohoney himself. The idol teamed up with numerous artists, such as TEM and former SPICA member Boa Kim. Both artists will be featuring on a few tracks in the upcoming mixtape.
Joohoney, the rapper of MONSTA X, is attracting attention for being a versatile artist, releasing various self-composed songs as well as writing the raps for MONSTA X. He recently proved his ability as a producer by gifting super rooking CRAVITY the song "JUMPER."

"PSYCHE" will be released nearly two years after his last mixtape, "DWTD", which dropped in 2018. "DWTD" and its main single "Red Carpet" was well-received by fans and K-hip-hop fans all over the world, and continues to garner love and attention from listeners all around the world. The song was such a hit, it even charted on the World Digital Song Sales Chart.

ABOUT JOOHONEY
Joohoney, also formerly known mononymously by his first name, Jooheon, is a South Korean rapper and songwriter. In 2015, he debuted as a member of MONSTA X under Starship Entertainment.
Prior to his debut, Joohoney was part of a trainee project group called Nu Boyz alongside #GUN, Shownu, and Wonho. The group would upload mixtapes to Starship Entertainment's official YouTube channel and also performed at the company's concert in 2014.
In December 2014, he participated in the survival show "No.Mercy", which would determine which members would be a part of Starship Entertainment's new boy group. He won a spot in MONSTA X's debut line-up through the show.
In January 2015, he released a collaboration song with Hyolyn and San E called "Coach Me". He also participated in the soundtrack for the South Korean drama "Orange Marmalade" with fellow MONSTA X member Kihyun, releasing a song titled "Attractable Woman".
In the summer of that year, he competed on Mnet's "Show Me The Money 4". He lost in the third round in a 1-on-1 battler against rapper Lee Hyun Joon but was later brought back for a second chance. He ultimately lost to rapper One.
In 2017, he released a solo music video for the song "Rhythm". In 2018, he released his mixtape "DWTD" with the title track "Red Carpet". A few months later, he released another music video for another song off the mixtape titled "Should I Do"
In February 2019, Jooheon replaced his stage name to Joohoney for English-language activities. in South Korea, he still goes by Jooheon.
