TWICE recently had an interview with Seventeen Magazine to promote their new comeback 'I Can't Stop Me'. There, Mina revealed she started bleeding while practicing the choreography for the song.
In the interview, TWICE revealed some memorable behind-the-scenes moments from the music video shoot of 'I Can't Stop Me'. Each member had a different answer, giving fans a peek into what happens during one of TWICE's music video shoots.
Sana said one of her favorite behind-the-scenes stories during the making of the video is playing the game 'Mafia' during the opening and ending choreography scene. She recalled how they were being filmed inside a huge flower, and the crew said that from the outside, the TWICE members looked like fairy inside a flower as they talked and had fun. She also recalls playing the video game 'Among Us' with their fans a few days ago.
While Sana had fond memories of the shoot, Mina's was not as happy. The members recently revealed to fans that they only had a few days to learn the dance for 'I Can't Stop Me', and had to film the music video shortly after learning the choreography. This meant that everyone had to work harder than usual to provide ONCEs with the best quality.
While Mina agreed with Sana that playing 'Mafia' was fun, she revealed that the memory that stuck out to her is when her knees bled. She revealed that while they were practicing the choreography scene, she was dancing so hard, she started bleeding. What is more shocking is that she did not even realize that she had cut her knee!
She turns the situation into a bright one, however, calling the cut a "wound of glory" and a "battle wound". She says that she got the cut from putting her all into giving the fans the best video.
Still, fans can't help but be worried about her. Back in January 2019, Mina was seen limping while she was in the airport. A few months later, Mina was seen performing with therapeutic tape on her legs, which are used to treat injury and to help treat the pain from it. Fans have speculated that the stress of the injury ended up contributing to Mina's hiatus from the group in 2019 to focus on her mental health.
However, it appears she is doing alright and does not want fans to worry. We hope the girls of TWICE stay strong and healthy!
