These '05 Liners Are Some of The Youngest Idols in K-Pop

These days, a lot of new and fresh young faces are making their debuts. These days, idols appear to be getting younger, with many of them being only fourteen and fifteen years old! Here are the six most youthful K-pop idols in the industry! Take note that this list does not include "Kid-dol" idols and only includes formally debuted and currently active idols.

1. TEASURE's Junghwan

Junghwan was born on Feb. 18, 2005, and is the group's maknae (or youngest member)! He made his debut at only fifteen years old!

Prior to his debut, he trained for nearly three years under YG Entertainment and competed in its survival show, "YG Treasure Box," in 2018. He was the third member of TREASURE to be announced.

2. Rocket Punch's Dahyun

Dahyun was born on April 29, 2005, and is the youngest member, or the maknae, of the girl group! She trained for two years under Woollim Entertainment before making her debut at only fourteen years old! Prior to her debut, she attended the "BORN Star Attaining Center," meaning she has been honing her skills for a while now!

3. Weeekly's Zooa

Zooa was born on May 31, 2005, and is the maknae and visual of the girl group, Weeekly! She made her debut at only fifteen years old! She is nicknamed the "Giant Baby" of the group because though she is the maknae, she stands at a startling 171cm - and she's still growing! Prior to her debut, she starred in THE BOYZ's "To all THE BOYZ I've Loved Before" VCR at the Melon Music Awards in 2018. As the group just recently debut, fans can watch and see Zooa grow from a rookie to a superstar idol.

4. P1Harmony's Soul

Soul was born on Feb. 1, 2005. His real name is Haku Shota, and he is half Korean half Japanese. The idol was introduced to the world of K-pop through his parents. His mother introduced him to TEEN TOP, while his father introduced him to B.A.P. The two groups ended up becoming his role models.

5. P1Harmony's Jongseob

Jongseob was born on Nov. 19, 2005, and is the maknae of the group. Before making his debut with P1Harmony, he was a trainee under YG Entertainment and competed in "YG Treasure Box." He was eliminated in the ninth episode. Prior to that, he competed on "K-Pop Star 6" and was one of the seasons' joint winners, competing as a member of the duo Boyfriend.

6. ENHYPEN's Ni-ki

Ni-ki was born on Dec. 9, 2005. He is not only the maknae of ENHYPEN, but he is also the maknae of the K-pop industry, as he is currently the youngest active idol at only fourteen years old! Ni-ki is the group's Japanese member and trained under BELIFT Lab for eight months. He was selected to join ENHYPEN after ranking 4th place in the finale of "I-LAND," garnering 1,140,718 votes. Prior to his K-pop beginnings, he worked as a back-up dancer for SHINee when he was around 11-12 years old.
