Due to the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, this year's Asia Model Awards was held in an untact (non-face-to-face contact) setup, meaning there was no audience. The ceremony took place on Dec. 5 at Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention (SETEC). It was broadcast live via the "Asia Model Festival" YouTube channel and Naver's live video-streaming service V LIVE. AMF Organizing Committee was the host for this year's ceremony, which was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Seoul Tourism Organization, and the Seoul city government. Throughout the ceremony, video acceptance speeches of the winners were played.
