Stray Kids, Hwasa, and More: K-Pop Radar Reveals Artists Who Got Their First 100M Views for MV This Year

On Wednesday, Dec. 16, K-Pop Radar released their "K-Pop Radar 2020 Year-End Data." In the data released, K-Pop Radar announced the K-pop artists who achieved their first music video that hit 100 million views. Keep on reading to see the artists who saw this groundbreaking achievement.

One of the music videos that surpassed 100 million views is "This Love" by DAVICHI, which was released in 2016. The song was released as the OST of the mega-hit "Descendants of the Sun." "This Love" surpassed the 100 million views mark on Dec. 20, 2019.

As of press time, it has 133 million views.

The next music video to surpass 100 million views is HIGH4 and IU's song "Not Spring, Love, or Cherry Blossoms," which was released way back in 2014. The song surpassed 100 million views on Jan. 4, 2020.

As of the time of writing, it has 112 million views.

Despite the popularity of the song, "Up & Down" by EXID only surpassed the 100 million views mark on Jan. 13, 2020! The song was released back in 2013 and is considered the girl group's breakthrough track.

The music video for "Up & Down" currently sits at 107 million views.

TXT's debut music video for "CROWN" also surpassed the 100 million views mark this year! "CROWN" was released in 2019 and hit that monumental milestone on Feb. 15, 2020.

As of now, "CROWN", has 127 million views.

MONSTA X's music video for "HERO" also hit 100 million views for the video's "Rooftop Ver." The music video for "HERO" was released in 2015 and grabbed that achievement on March 3, 2020.

"HERO Rooftop Ver." currently has 112 million views.

This KARA music video might be the oldest one on the list! "STEP" was released in 2011 and surpassed 100 million views on YouTube on March 3, 2017.

As of now, it currently has over 104 million views.

Yuehua Entertainment's first South Korean girl group EVERGLOW also had a music video surpass 100 million views! Their music video for "ADIOS," which was released in 2019, surpassed the said view mark on March 3, 2020.

Currently, it has 128 million views.

The famous quartet MAMAMOO may already be a big name in K-pop, but they had their first music video to hit 100 million views just this year! "HIP," which was released in 2019, surpassed the view mark on April 17, 2020.

Currently, it has 199 million views. That's almost 200 million!

The group that is currently on the rise, NCT 127, also had their first music video to hit 100 million views! Their song "Cherry Bomb," which was released back in 2017, surpassed the aforementioned view mark on June 20, 2020.

The music video for the song currently has 119 million views!

We are down to the last five artists and music videos that earned their first 100 million viewed music video! BTS member Suga, who goes by Agust D, also earned his first said music video for his debut solo song, "Agust D." The song was released in 2016 and surpassed the view mark on July 3, 2020. It currently has 112 million views.

The short-lived "Produce X 101" boy group X1 may have only released one music video, but it still made numbers on YouTube! Their song "FLASH" was released in 2019 and surpassed 100 million views on July 26, 2020. It currently has 105 million views.

The JYP Entertainment boy group Stray Kids is slowly making a name for themselves and earned a ton of love for their song "God's Menu." It was so well-loved that it even surpassed 100 million views this year. This was released this year and surpassed 100 million views on Aug. 27, 2020. Currently, the music video has 161 million views.

The OST for "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," "Say Yes" by Loco & Punch, also surpassed 100 million views this year. The said music video was released in 2016 and surpassed the said view count on Nov. 15, 2020. It currently has 104 million views.

Last, but most certainly not least, MAMAMOO's maknae Hwasa got her first music video that surpassed 100 million views on YouTube this year for "Maria." The music video for the song was released this year and surpassed 100 million views on Nov. 15, 2020. It currently has 110 million views.
