Many fans rejoiced when Pledis Entertainment announced, on Saturday, Dec. 19, that all SEVENTEEN members have tested negative for the COVID-19.

The agency previously required Joshua Hong, Vernon, Hoshi, Wen Junhui, DK, Dino, S.Coups, Xu, Mighao, Seungkwan, Woozi, Wonwoo, Kim Mingyu, and Yoo Jeonghan to undergo testing after it was learned that they could a tertiary contact of Golden Child member Jaehyun, who was confirmed to have contracted the deadly coronavirus earlier this week.

Pledis Entertainment was pleased to announce that all SEVENTEEN members are safe from the COVID-19 after their tests turned out negative. It also announced that Joshua Hong, Vernon, Hoshi, Wen Junhui, DK, Dino, S.Coups, Xu, Mighao, Seungkwan, Woozi, Wonwoo, Kim Mingyu, and Yoo Jeonghan would be back to their usual activities starting today.

The agency thanked everyone who got worried and concerned after learning about SEVENTEEN's possible exposure to the coronavirus. Pledis Entertainment, however, emphasized that it would continue prioritizing the health and safety of its staff and artists by following all the precautionary guidelines set by health authorities in South Korea.

Most, if not all, fans know that SEVENTEEN was listed as part of the 2020 KBS Song Festival's lineup of performers. However, since some members had not received their COVID-19 test results before the prestigious musical event happened, Joshua Hong, Vernon, Hoshi, Wen Junhui, DK, Dino, S.Coups, Xu, Mighao, Seungkwan, Woozi, Wonwoo, Kim Mingyu, and Yoo Jeonghan decided not to attend anymore.

Fortunately, they are all cleared now, and this means that avid followers of the group are very likely to see them in the upcoming episode of "The Late Late Show With James Corden. To recall, Pledis Entertainment previously divulged that the boys were invited to appear on the popular American late-night talk show, which is being aired on CBS.

While no other details were revealed at the moment, speculations have it that SEVENTEEN is likely to perform some of their songs during the guesting, which is set to appear in January 2021. Before SEVENTEEN, BTS, NCT, and BLACKPINK have already graced the show.

SEVENTEEN to join BTS and TXT in 'CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special'

Aside from their imminent "The Late Late Show with James Corden, devoted supporters of SEVENTEEN should also watch out for them in the upcoming "CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special." Joshua Hong, Vernon, Hoshi, Wen Junhui, DK, Dino, S.Coups, Xu, Mighao, Seungkwan, Woozi, Wonwoo, Kim Mingyu, and Yoo Jeonghan are said to perform their song "24H," which is the group's title track in their second Japanese mini-album.

BTS would also be appearing on the said event, which is set to happen on Dec. 21. Jimin, Jin, V, Jungkook, RM, and J-Hope are expected to sing their trending hits "Life Goes On" and "Dynamite." However, it remains to be seen if Suga would be able to join his co-members as he is still recovering from shoulder surgery.

Aside from SEVENTEEN and BTS, TXT is also performing on the "CDTV Live! Live! Christmas Special." The group is likely to perform the Japanese version of their hit track called "Blue Hour." It was revealed that all performance would be filed in South Korea because of the present global health crisis.
