New Artist Has Signed with P NATION + PSY to Reveal Identity Soon

A new artist has joined PSY's self-established label P NATION, and the identity of the K-pop star will be unveiled later this week!

On Dec. 28, PSY took to his official Instagram account to share a teaser image, announcing that his label will be welcoming a new artist. In the photo, only the silhouette of the new idol can be seen, leaving the public clueless about who it can be. The latest addition to the label will be unveiled on Dec. 30 at noon KST.

Several followers of PSY made their guesses, with some saying that it could be Cheetah or former 2NE1 member CL. This additional idol becomes the seventh artist under P NATION, including PSY. Moreover, the new artist is the first to sign with the label after three months since Heize signed an exclusive contract with P NATION this past September. This means that PSY will be ending this year with two new artists joining his self-established agency.

Meanwhile, P NATION's current artists are PSY, Jessi, HyunA, Dawn, Crush, and Heize. The company was founded in October 2018, just four months after PSY left his management agency, YG Entertainment, in May of the same year. The agency's name was announced via PSY's Instagram account in January 2019.

Meanwhile, some P NATION artists released new music this year and also had collaborations with other K-pop stars, either before or after they signed with PSY's agency. Last May, Crush collaborated with RED VELVET's Joy to sing the single titled "Mayday," which serves as the title track of his single album "homemade 1." In October, he released his fourth extended play "With Her."
