BTS's 'BE' Dominates Billboard World Albums for 4 Consecutive Weeks + BLACKPINK a Close Second

BTS continues to dominate music charts with their second album in 2020, "BE." In fact, it remains at the number 1 spot on Billboard World Albums chart for the fourth week!

Most, if not all, fans are aware that BTS dropped their ninth studio album in November as they continue to bring warmth and comfort to all their devoted supporters amid the current global health crisis. "BE" contained a total of eight tracks, including the trending "Dynamite" song and its carrier single "Life Goes On."

BTS entered various music charts with the "BE" album. It peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, Gaon South Korean Albums chart, AFP Portuguese Albums chart, ZPAV Polish Albums chart, VG-lista Norwegian Albums chart, RMNZ New Zealand Albums chart, AGATA Lithuanian Albums chart, Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart, Oricon Japanese Albums chart, Billboard Canadian Album chart, Ultratop Wallonia Belgian Albums chart and OCC Irish Albums chart.

Recently, it was revealed that "BE" has continued nabbing the top rank on the Billboard World Albums.

Coming in second and third ranks are BLACKPINK's "THE ALBUM" and another BTS album called "Map of the Soul: 7," which was released in February.

"Dynamite" was also listed in Billboard Global 200 chart at No. 6 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 1. The same track was included in the Billboard Top 100 chart and was proclaimed as the song with the biggest sales in the week ending on Dec. 26.

Meanwhile, devoted supporters of BTS (ARMY) voted the "Map of the Soul: 7" as the no. 1 favorite album of 2020. Billboard started a poll in early December to determine that most popular and loved albums released this year.

The septet's first album in 2020 nabbed the top stop after getting 30.66% of the total number of votes. "Folklore" by Taylor Swift came in close second after nabbing the 29.28% of the votes and followed by "Future Nostalgia" by Dua Lipa with 6.49% of the total number of votes.

"Positions" by Ariana Grande ranked fourth after receiving 5.81% of the votes. "Rare" by Selena Gomez, "Chromatica" by Lady Gaga, "THE ALBUM" by BLACKPINK, "After Hours" by The Weeknd, "B7" by Brandy and "Manic" by Halsey rounded off the Top 10.

Forbes predicted that BTS will regain the no. 1 spot on the Digital Song Sales chart after the New Year since numerous Americans, reportedly, bough more copies of "Dynamite" in the previous tracking period. Nielsen Music, as per the business-centered news outlet, shared that BTS has sold a total of 16,000 copies of the track recently.

BTS previously proved that they are champions in their own rights when their latest single called "Life Goes On" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Unfortunately, the song has shockingly disappeared on the list after a few days.
