BTS breaks the 450 million views record again with 'Not Today' music video

Most, if not all, fans of BTS are aware that the "Not Today" music video was released on Feb. 20, 2017. In other words, it took the MV three years, 10 months, and nine days to break the 450 million views record on YouTube.

As of this writing, the "Not Today" music video of BTS has amassed a total of 7.3 million likes and got more than 760,000 comments already. The 11th music video of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM, and Suga hit the 450 million mark. Other MVs that previously surpassed the record is "Dynamite," "Boy With Luv," "Blood Sweat & Tears," "IDOL," "Dope," "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix," "Fake Love," "Fire" and "DNA."

Avid supporters of BTS were quick to comment on this latest feat. One netizen said that "Not Today" has meaningful lyrics, but it remains to be an underrated song in terms of views alongside another track called "Spring Day." Another netizen congratulated Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM, and Suga for achieving another milestone before the year 2020 officially ends.

BTS expected to regain the top spot on Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart

Meanwhile, Forbes projected that BTS would be taking the No. 1 spot on the Digital Song Sales chart in the first few days of 2021. The global media company claimed that several Americans have secured copies of Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM, and Suga's "Dynamite" recently, which would be added to the official tally in the coming days.

It added that the recent purchases are likely to take "Dynamite" from the second spot to the top rank after, more or less, 16,000 digital copies were sold in the past few days. Nielsen Music, which Billboard utilizes to assemble its weekly charts, shared the data to Forbes.

The same publication shared that the new versions of "Dynamite" have helped Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM, and Suga maintain their reign in several music charts. As a matter of fact, BTS has been listed in the Billboard Hot 100 for months already even with the release of brand new albums from big artists such as Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Drake, and Dua Lipa among others.

For starters, "Dynamite" debuted at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart in September. The track continues to rule the list for 11 weeks already after selling more than 1.2 million digital copies. It was even considered as one of the fastest-selling releases in recent times.

BTS has also dominated the Billboard World Albums for four consecutive weeks with their second album in 2020 called "BE." Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, RM, and Suga, previously, divulged that they wanted their new set of tracks to bring hope and comfort to everyone who was badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
