Which K-pop artist/group's comeback and debut do you anticipate the most? Numerous stars are set to make K-pop fans 2021 more exciting!
The new year just began, but various K-pop artists will be having new releases already that will surely heat the music scene.
In particular, Dal Shabet's Subin has dropped her new track, "Eyes Like Snow on Jan. 1. Recently, ITZY, TREASURE, (G)I-DLE, and more also announced their upcoming releases, capturing K-pop fans and music supporters' attention.
K-pop Groups and Artists Comeback 2021
On Tuesday, former RAINZ Hong Eun Ki will be dropping his fourth single " ON&ON," followed by Jeong Sewoon's second installment of his studio album, "24."
Several rookie groups will be kicking off this January as well such as MCND with its second mini-album, "MCND Age" (Jan. 8), ONEUS with "Devil" (Jan. 19), and GOLDEN CHILD with its new mini-album.
Along with them, the rookie boy groups that were hailed as "Best New Artists" from various award ceremonies in 2020 will be returning to proved their music influence and fame this Jan. 2.
TREASURE, the "monster rookie" from YG Entertainment is heralding their first full-length album, "THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT" on Jan. 11.
CRAVITY followed on Jan. 19, which already teased their fans with a prologue film for their seven-track album, "SEASON 3 HIDEOUT: BE OUR VOICE."
Moving on, both girl-crush bands (G)I-DLE and ITZY are preparing for their comebacks on Jan.11 with "I burn" and on Jan. 22 with "Not Shy (English Ver.)," respectively.
Victon will also return with their first studio album, "VOICE: The Future is Now," slated on Jan. 11. AB6IX will then have a repackaged album for their third mini-album, "SALUTE," (Jan. 18) while girl group SATURDAY is returning with a single album, "Only You" (Jan. 22).
This year will be dominated by second-gen K-pop stars, too, as Yubin (former Wonder Girls) will be dropping a digital single, "Perfume" (Jan. 13) and EPIK HIGH with its 10th full album, "EPIK HIGH is Here" (Jan. 18).
Super Junior, TVXQ Yunho, DIA, Chung Ha, and UP10TION Wooseok are also reported to make their return stage this 2021.
K-pop Groups and Artists Debut 2021
This 2021, some groups will be introduced in the K-pop scene for the first time as well.
This includes T1419, the junior of MOMOLAND which will debut under MLD Entertainment on Jan. 11 with their first single, "Before Sunrise Part 1."
On Jan. 2, MLD finally unveiled the members through their official teaser videos.
A new boy group under Victory Entertainment is also gaining interest, as they announced their debut this January as well.
Lastly, U-KISS Soohyun and Hoon will be releasing their first unit track, "I Wish" on Jan. 27.
