Although it is already a new year and it has been months since the release of BTS's "Dynamite," the English track keeps on achieving an awesome feat on Billboard, one of the major music charts in the world. In particular, BTS's "Dynamite" is making history on the Hot 100 chart's top 10.
The Billboard Hot 100 is one of the record charts in the United States for songs from different genres issued by Billboard magazine. Rankings are based on sales, both digital and physical, radio play, and online streaming in the said country.

On Jan. 5, Billboard revealed the Hot 100's top 10 for the week ending on Jan. 9, and it includes only one K-pop song - it is none other than BTS's "Dynamite," which instantly became a hit upon its release. The song came in at No. 5, becoming the first Korean song to enter the Billboard Hot 100's top 10 for more than 13 weeks. With this, it is now the longest-charting K-pop single on the said chart.
BTS's "Dynamite" previously debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September and remained in that position for three total weeks. It is the group's first number-one track in the US and made BTS the first-ever South Korean act to top the chart. The song recorded a total of 265,000 downloads in its first week.

The English song also ranked first on the Billboard Global Excl. US charts for the week ending on Jan. 9 - the chart ranks the leading track based on sales and streaming activities from more than 200 countries ,worldwide, not including the US. "Dynamite" is already in its 17th week on the Billboard Global Excl. The US, with the song topping the chart for three weeks in a row.
The K-pop hit also entered the Billboard Global 200, charting at No. 3 after moving from No. 12 last week. It is also spending its 17th week on the chart. This proves how popular BTS's "Dynamite" is across the globe. In addition to this, the song also charted on Billboard's other charts. It was at No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales chart for 12 weeks, at No. 11 on the Adult Pop Song, at No. 16 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and No. 17 on the Pop Songs chart.
Furthermore, BTS's "Dynamite" was at No. 21 on the Billboard's Radio Songs chart. It even entered Canada's record charts which are also issued by Billboard. It claimed the No. 12 spot on the Canada CHR/Top 40, and was at No. 20 Canada All-Format Airplay. All in all, the song ranked in the top 10 in 25 different countries and topped the charts in South Korea, Singapore, Lithuania, Scotland, Israel, Hungary, and Malaysia.

On top of that, "Dynamite" received a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, which was BTS's first nomination as well as the first Korean pop song to earn a Grammy nod.
