According to a recent poll conducted on the popular idol voting app Choeaedol, BLACKPINK member Jisoo was selected as the female idol people would like to see when they first wake up.
Choeaedol recently held a poll from Dec. 31, 2020, to Jan. 6, 2021, asking fans "Who is the idol you want to see when you wake up?" In the female idol category, Jisoo ranked at number one, garnering over 32,801 votes. BTS member V took home first place in the male category with over 40,000 votes.
Sitting at second place is fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé with 30,453 votes. In third place is BLACKPINK member Jennie with 28,857. Following behind Jennie is BLACKPINK's Lisa, IU, Girls' Generation's Yoona, Red Velvet's Irene, (G)I-DLE's Yuqi, TWICE's Tzuyu, and then TWICE's Nayeon.

Currently, Jisoo is filming for the upcoming JTBC drama "Snowdrop". This is the first time Jisoo is tackling a lead role in the drama and she is acing alongside famous actor Jung Hae In. The drama is set to air on JTBC in 2021. "Snowdrop" is set in 1987 and follows the story of Im Soo Ho (Jung Hae In), a student at a prestigious university who suddenly dashes into a female dormitory one day, drenched in blood, and Eun Young Cho (BLACKPINK's Jisoo), a lovable and bright student who hides him and tends to his wounds, despite the danger of being under close surveillance.
2020 has been quite a busy year for the YG Entertainment girl group. Earlier on April 22, BLACKPINK collaborated with Lady Gaga for the song "Sour Candy", which appeared in the latter's "Chromatica" album. On June 26, 2020, BLACKPINK dropped the pre-release single "How You Like That", making their first comeback in a year and two months since "Kill This Love".

On July 23, 2020, BLACKPINK dropped their second pre-release single "Ice Cream", which features American singer Selena Gomez, marking BLACKPINK's second collaboration with a Western powerhouse for the year. On Oct. 2, 2020, BLACKPINK finally dropped their much-anticipated full-length studio album, "THE ALBUM", with the title track "Lovesick Girls". Member Jisoo and Jennie helped co-write the title track. The album contains the two pre-release singles that were dropped months prior.
On Oct. 14, 2020, Netflix dropped their first K-pop centered documentary, "BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky". As the subject of the first K-pop documentary on the platform, "BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky" follows the girl group's career from their debut in 2016 to 2020.
Currently, BLACKPINK is preparing for their first online concert, "THE SHOW", which is organized in partnership with YouTube Music. It will be live-streamed on Jan. 31.
