The winners for the annual "Golden Disc Awards" ceremony were finally announced! Among them, BLACKPINK, BTS, IU, Hwasa, Jessi, and many more were hailed as winners for their respective categories.
At the 35th Golden Disc Awards with CURAPROX, which was broadcasted on Jan. 9, Saturday, an award ceremony for the digital music categories was held.
Meanwhile, digital music at the 35th Golden Disc Awards will be awarded to digital music releases from November 2019 to November 2020.
Due to the surge of coronavirus, proper social distancing protocols were observed that's why only minimal interactions from idols can be seen, but the ceremony was brightened up by actors Park Sodam and Lee Seung Gi, who were the star MCs of the night.
In the awards ceremony, various K-pop artists and groups also adorned the stage with their fantastic performances, giving an unforgettable show for their fans and supporters.
Meanwhile, IU, BTS, BLACKPINK, Zico, and more surely performed and showcased outstanding releases last year, securing their spots to receive trophies.
"Best Digital Song-Bonsang" Winners at "Golden Disc Awards"
The winners of the "Best Digital Song -Bonsang" include prominent artists such as BLACKPINK, MAMAMOO, Hwasa, ITZY, Red Velvet, OH MY GIRL, Zico, NOEL, IU, and BTS.
During the show, BLACKPINK did not attend the ceremony. Meanwhile, Hwasa, who received the award, expressed her acceptance speech and said "I'm grateful to my beloved family, fans who are always waiting on the spot, MAMAMOO members, and Woo Sung for working together to make this album. We will always work hard to make you happy in tough times."

IU Receives Main Prize, "Best Digital Song-Daesang"
On top of the winners, the "Nation's Sweetheart" IU won the grand prize in the digital music category of the 35th "Golden Disc Awards."
IU won the grand prize along with actor Lee Minho's award. IU won the grand prize in the same category three years after winning the grand prize in the 32nd Golden Disc digital music category in 2018.
IU said, "I am honored to win the grand prize at the Golden Disc Awards for the first time in three years. Thank you listeners for loving 'Blueming' consistently. I would like to express my special thanks to the composer. We are also grateful to the artists who participated."
She added, "We're all having a hard time, and I want to say thank you and support to the artists and officials who made the music. I think a new full-length album will be released this year," confirming her comeback this year.

Lastly, she said," I will play music that will give energy to those who are tired. We will deliver a cheerful song sometime in January. I will always be a proud singer to UAENA (fan club). Thank you very much."
