BTS V Selected as the Male Idol People Want to See Have a Comeback in 2021

In a recent poll conducted on the popular idol voting app "Choeaedol," BTS member V was selected as the male idol that fans want to see have a comeback in 2021. Keep on reading to learn more.

In a poll titled "Which made idol are you expecting to make a comeback in 2021?" held on Choeaedol, BTS member V was selected as the top idol fans cannot wait to return to the stage. The poll was conducted from Jan. 13 to Jan. 21 and garnered 109,133 participants.

V topped the list with 37,993 votes. Coincidentally, the idols from ranks one to seven are all BTS members. Sitting in second place is Jimin with 35,771 votes. In third place, we have BTS's golden maknae Jungkook with 34,574 votes.

In fourth place, we have BTS's "Worldwide Handsome" member Jin with 31,875 votes. Next up, in fifth place, we have Suga with 29,774 votes. Sixth place goes to BTS's "Hope", J-Hope, with 28,741 votes. In seventh place, we have BTS's leader RM with 23,734 votes. With that, it is obvious that people cannot wait for a BTS comeback to roll up!

Seeing how successful 2020 was for BTS, it is no surprise that people are anticipating how successful 2021 will be for the group. At the start of the year, BTS dropped "Map of the Soul: 7" on Feb. 2020, which ended up being named the best-selling album in South Korean history. Two months later, BTS would be crowned the best-selling artist in South Korean history after selling more than 20 million albums.

In Aug. 2020, BTS released "Dynamite", their first all-English single. "Dynamite" debuted at number one in the Billboard Hot 100, making it the first time an all-Korean act hit number one in the United States. A month later, on Oct. 2020, BTS hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 once more with their remix of Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685's "Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat)".

On Nov. 2020, BTS dropped their studio album "BE" with the title track "Life Goes On". That same month, "Life Goes On" debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making it BTS's third number-one hit in the United States. It is also the first time a Korean-language song hit number one in the country.
