GOT7's Jackson confirmed to have joined Sublime Artist Agency where his bandmate Youngjae recently signed with!
On Friday, Jan. 22, Sublime Artist Agency revealed to various media outlets that they have made a joint business agreement with GOT7's Jackson's management agency, TEAM WANG. They will be in charge of managing the male idol and his future activities. They also revealed that they will be working with TEAM WANG to handle Jackson's schedules not only in South Korea and China, but in global business ventures.
Considering that both are comprehensive entertainment agencies that combine entertainment management, advertising, production, and much more, they are expected to team up in a variety of fields. With the joint business agreement between TEAM WANG and Sublime Artist Agency, GOT7's Jackson plans to start various solo activities both in South Korea and abroad.
On the same day, Sublime Artist Agency took to its official SNS account to welcome their second new artist and GOT7 member, Jackson Wang. The record label also made a post on Twitter in which they wrote:
"TEAM WANG and SAA will engage in extensive global collaboration in 2021.
We are collaborating across varying business functions and conducting business in the music industry, production, and managing various artists. Both companies will continue to develop business together."
Moreover, GOT7's Jackson shared a photo showing "TEAM WANG X Sublime Artist Agency" via his Instagram story. He also made a post on Twitter together with the same picture. He tweeted, "I always hope I can make you all proud. I'm so blessed for having you all supporting & giving confidence to a kid like me when I had none since day 1. Will try our best to create unique and special things. 2021. Different identities in different fields. LET'S MAKE HISTORY. #TEAMWANG."

GOT7 Jackson now joins his bandmate Youngjae in Sublime Artist Agency, together with Rain, EXID's Hani, T-ARA's Hyomin, Song Kang Ho, former PRISTIN member Lim Nayoung, and more.
Jackson Wang, along with his fellow GOT7 members, departed from his long-time agency, JYP Entertainment, on Jan. 19 following the expiration of his exclusive contract with them. The male idol was previously reported to promote both in South Korea and China and now it will eventually happen in the future since his label, TEAM WANG hascreated a partnership with Sublime Artist Agency.
Wang entered the world of K-pop when he debuted in January 2014 as the main rapper of GOT7. He is the only Chinese member of the boy group, and one of the three non-Korean members, with the two other boys being Mark an American (but of Taiwanese descent) and Bambam a Thailander.
In 2017, GOT7's Jackson established his own agency in his hometown, Hong Kong, called Team Wang. In August of the same year, he released his first solo track titled "Papillon," which is an English song. After founding his company, he started to be the endorser of clothing brands, electronics, and beverages.
In July 2020, the male idol launched his fashion brand, "Team Wang Design" with the first collection called "The Original." It is currently available on an online store but also in a pop-up store in Shanghai, as well as in certain shops in the United States and Canada.
