An exciting lineup for the 2021 "Idol Star Athletics Championship" awaits K-pop enthusiasts! From the "ISAC legends" to the "ISAC Kids" who grew up watching the annual event, the upcoming broadcast is already drawing attention!
On Feb. 2, Tuesday, MBC's "2021 Lunar New Year Special Idol Star Athletics Championship: Hall of Fame," announces a "legendary" special episode, that will shed light on the past performances of K-pop idols that created history in the yearly idol-only sports competition through the years.
Starting with the first broadcast of Chuseok in 2010, ISAC has established itself as a representative holiday entertainment show, creating numerous topics and new records. Last year, it introduced not only sports but also new sports such as e-sports (Idol E-sports Championship) and "Dog-agility Championships."
However, due to the pandemic, various K-pop groups can't compete with each other this year following the non-contact rules. In this line, instead of meeting fans at the stadium, the Lunar New Year special "ISAC" will be decorated with a unique feature by inviting idols who were truly passionate about sports and who have been active at the ISAC, the "legends" -- along with "ISAC Kids" who grew up watching ISAC.

This year's ISAC, star-studded K-pop idols including SHINee Minho, Highlight Yoon Doojoon, Apink Bomi, BTOB Minhyuk, OH MY GIRL Seunghee, ASTRO Moon Bin, NCT DREAM Jeno, THE BOYZ Juyeon, Stray Kids Hyunjin, ITZY Yeji, and Lia will complete the lineup and will gather to look back on the legendary and unforgettable moments during the sports competition.
In context, ISAC is not only a competition but an event where idols can interact with each other, along with their fans cheering them in their respective sports. Aside from discovering the winners, the cute and memorable scenes between idols are always anticipated.
To make the special episode more fun, Jeon Hyunmoo and Super Junior's Leeteuk will accompany the idols and will host the whole event.

In the still-cut photos released by ISAC, the bright smile and the warm atmosphere between idol seniors and juniors idol captured the attention of K-pop fans.
According to the report of the Korean media outlet Star Daily News, it is expected that the casts will watch unbreakable and incredible records from the event, and "legendary scenes" that cause "enthusiasm" among fans and netizens that are still the talk of the town till now.
Moreover, unreleased behind-the-scenes will be released as well, raising expectations from viewers.The production team planned this special in return for the support of viewers who give a lot of attention and love to the "Idol Star Athletics Championships.''
ISAC 2021, which is an annual sports competition starring K-pop idols will be broadcast as a two-day Lunar New Year special on February 11 and 12.
