CIX's 2020 Releases

"Hello Chapter Ø: Hello, Strange Dream" is CIX's first release and marks their first comeback this 2021. Last year, they only made one comeback with their third extended play titled "Hello Chapter 3: Hello, Strange Time." This was initially set to be dropped in June 2020, however, CIX Bae Jinyoung injured himself during a practice session so they had to postpone the release. The EP was then issued on Oct. 27.

"Hello Chapter 3: Hello, Strange Time" consists of the title track "Jungle," which is a pop dance song that is about being unable to avoid the person who appears to be one's savior and being taken over by them instead. Moreover, the mini-album is the group's highest-selling work so far, achieving 40,962 album sales in its first week and setting a new personal record.

CIX's third EP even topped the iTunes K-pop Music Album Charts in 24 different countries and landed on the Apple Music Album Charts in 17 regions as well. Besides the Korean album, the band also launched their first Japanese song titled "Revival" in April 2020.
