Suzy's Journey to Stardom

Most, if not all, fans are very much aware that Suzy was launched in July 2010 as one of the members of Miss A. The group saw early success when their tracks, such as "Only You," "Breathe" and "Good-bye Baby," smashed records and dominated music charts. The "Bad Girl Good Girl" track even received several awards.

However, after releasing their six-track album titled "Colors," Suzy and her co-members decided to go on an indefinite hiatus and later disbanded.

Suzy continued her career in acting and was tapped to star in some of the most successful productions in history, which include the 2021 movie "Architecture 101." In the film, the K-Pop sweetheart portrayed as Yang Seo Yeon who coincidentally got reconnected with her puppy love as Lee Seung Min, who is played by Lee Je Hoon, was working on a new home in Jeju Island.

The movie featured several scenes that depict the bittersweetness and nostalgia of one's first love. Because of her exemplary portrayal, Suzy earned the "Nation's First Love" moniker as she is now being seen as an icon of unrequited love.

In 2020, Suzy made headlines again after she appeared on the trending Netflix series titled "Start-Up." The former Miss A member previously divulged that she chose to become part of the series because of its fresh storyline.
