Details of TRI.BE's Journey Before Their Successful Launch Revealed
Producer S.Tiger revealed to Forbes senior contributor Jeff Benjamin that music genre was his top priority when he was producing TRI.BE. The famous South Korean songwriter shared he wanted to create something different from the usual K-Pop genre, which is a mixture of dancehall, baile funk and Afrobreat.
At the time, S.Tiger said he is very much aware that this type of production would serve as a primary path indicator for the South Korean girl group's future musical direction. Moreover, choosing the right genre would greatly contribute to TRI.BE's attempt in engraving their position and identity within the K-Pop industry.
S.Tiger shared that producing TRI.BE is somewhat different from his previous projects as he tried his very best not to repeat the things he did for MOMOLAND, EXID, and Apink where he focused more on creating concepts and writing music that would fit the group's color. He went on to reveal that he spent the most time and effort on TRI.BE.
Because of this, he is very confident that K-Pop fans would totally understand and, hopefully, learn to appreciate the unique music and signature voices of all TRI.BE members. S.Tiger even teased that there are more things to come in the future, such as additional albums and individual song releases.
Despite all the sleepless nights and hardships he encountered, S.Tiger is very much delighted that he was given a chance to work with TRI.BE wherein he was able to study more through the said production. The popular composer added he also tried to bring a change within him.
