The leader and youngest members of SEVENTEEN, TWICE, aespa, TREASURE, and more were asked whether they would swap their positions in their next life, and here's what they answered!
In a recent survey conducted by the Korean media outlet, Sports Seoul, the leaders and youngest members (maknaes) from 15 K-pop groups participated and answered several questions relating to their positions.
The K-pop groups including NU'EST, Oh My Girl, Monsta X, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, The Boys, Stray Kids, (G)Idle, ATEEZ, IZ*ONE, ITZY, TXT, TREASURE, aespa, and ENHYPEN, are then asked,
"If you were born again and debuted in the same group, do you want to be the youngest (for the leaders) or leader (for the youngest)?"
Here's what they answered!
1. NU'EST
JR, the leader of the group answered that being a leader suits him more than being the youngest. In particular, NU'EST is a group whose members are all 95-liner, thus, Ren, who's the last one to be born was the one who answered the question for the maknae, saying, "normal middle is good."
2. Oh My Girl
Leader Hyejeong replied that she wants to experience being the youngest because she's curious if how does it feel to be the youngest member. However, Maknae Arin wants to keep her position.
3. Monsta X
Unlike the other leaders, Shownu funnily answered, "I don't care," as long as he debuted with the same group. Seems like I.M. is truly raised by Shownu as he answered, "as I am born."
4. SEVENTEEN
Leader S.Coups and youngest Dino answered that being a member is to be thankful enough, showing how close they truly love their group members.
5. TWICE
As for Jihyo, she explained that she's the eldest child so she suits being the leader even in the next life, just like how Chaeyoung thinks she's best to be the youngest.

6. The Boyz
Sangyeon, the leader of The Boyz responded that he likes to try being the youngest, while Eric also thinks that being the youngest in the group is the coolest.
7. Stray Kids
As for leader Bangchan, he wants to continue being the leader to prevent the mistakes and shortcomings that happened.
I.N. would not swap his maknae position as well, despite his older members being too aggressive.
8. (G)I-DLE
Soyeon, who became the leader of the group is also one of the youngest lines, and she preferred it like that. As for Shuhua, she didn't specify that she wants to be the leader, but she answered that she likes to become the eldest sister.
9. ATEEZ
Hongjoong is already used to becoming the leader, so he wants to keep his position, but in the case of Jongho, he likes to become the intermediate member.
10. IZ*ONE
Eunbi delightedly responded that she will become the youngest member instead of the leader in her next life, and Wonyoung also preferred being the youngest.
11. ITZY
Leader Yeji expressed her desire to become the youngest, and Yuna also claimed that she wants to keep being the maknae.
12. TXT
As for Soobin, he also wants to try being the youngest, rather than be a leader again. Taehyun, a member of the youngest line, wants to become the youngest as well while Huening Kai, which is the current maknae replied, " I want to become the youngest member of TXT again!"
13. TREASURE
Jihoon, one of the leaders of TREASURE responded that he will choose the maknae position if he will debut in the same group, while Hyunsuk wants to keep his position to support the members more. As for Junghwan, being the maknae is what he likes.
14. aespa
Leader Karina is used to being the youngest in their house, that's why she wants to be the youngest member in their group.
Ningning also said that she wants to be the youngest member again, as she likes being adored by her elder sisters a lot.
15. ENHYPEN
Lastly, ENHYPEN's leader Jungwon wants to keep his position as he wants to become a better leader in their next life. as for Ni-Ki, the youngest member of the group, he wants to be the youngest and have the good older brothers he has now.
