THE BOYZ's Sunwoo Accused of Date Violence, Sexual Harassment, and Bullying
On Feb. 22, an anonymous netizen accused Sunwoo of school violence. The user claimed that Sunwoo would often insult students with sexually inappropriate jokes or insult their families. They also claim that he had physically assaulted his ex-girlfriend, and of underage drinking and smoking.
Their whole statement reads:
"Sunwoo-ya, do you remember your ask.fm controversies? Why did you make such a ridiculous excuse and saying that it was your friends that did it? Anyone who went to the same middle school knows the truth. In a school that is basically full of trash, you went around making sexually inappropriate jokes and jokes involving other people's families. It seems that you still have not gotten a grip of yourself, and whenever scandals arise, I always think that you definitely did not change. That is why I detest you even more.
During your first year of middle school, you dated XX and assaulted her while out on a date, so she walked around school with bruises all over her body. Your friends told a girl in our class that they would do XX to her on her birthday and called her XX. You simply laughed next to them. I remember everything. You did not attend class and smoked outside of clothes, and you guys gathered to drink whenever you all felt like it. You talked so filthily that I cannot even say it. Is it not considered school violence just because you did not actually do physical violence? Even after five years, I feel so much fear when I run into your friends by change. When they show up on my social media as recommended friends, my hands start to shake.
When you transferred schools to play soccer, I was able to breathe a little easier. But then a girl who used to hang around you suddenly came in and told me that you were signed under LOEN Entertainment. She told me that you had also passed your audition at YG Entertainment, but you thought it would take too long to debut, so you entered LOEN. Do you know how I felt at that moment? Is it alright for someone like you to receive so much love, be praised as a filial song, and live happily? I do not know if you deserve all that.
The male alumni defended you, saying that it was cool that you are so handsome and that you drank and smoked. But the girls did not think so. Many were contemplating if they should make this public before they debuted. Everyone thought the same thing - that they were too afraid of getting sued by you if they came out with their stories. I have the same sentiments. But now, it is too difficult for me to see you receiving so much love.
If you really want to be loved, admit all that you did. Just because you search for posts regarding your controversies one by one and delete them, it does not make the way you smoked around the school, the way you perpetrated school violence, the way you sexually harassed and assaulted us disappear. This post will be deleted soon, too, right? It is scary."
