WayV to Release Third Mini-Album 'Kick Back' in March

On Feb. 23, WayV confirmed that they will be returning on stage with their third mini-album "Kick Back," which will be released this March!

On the same day, photo teasers were released through their official social media accounts, raising the expectation of K-poo fans, particularly WayZenNi, its fandom.

As this will be the first release of the group since June 2020, it is expected that the seven-member China-based K-pop/C-pop group will kick off with an incredible return.

According to reports, WayV's third mini-album will contain a total of six songs from various genres, including the eponymous title song.

Earlier, the album was said to have two versions, the "Stranger" and "Hitchhiker," which will be featuring the group's signature sound that includes C-pop, Hip Hop, R&B, and more.

It was noted that their first full-length album "Awaken The World," released in June last year, gave them several achievements including topping China's largest music site, QQ Music's "Weekly Popular," and sat atop iTunes "Top Albums chart" in 21 regions and Japan's music site "AWA" charts.

Due to this, the group captured the attention of numerous K-pop enthusiasts, cementing their fame in the music scene more after gaining several titles from various Korean music awards ceremonies.

During year-end awards ceremonies, WayV took the title for MAMA's "Favorite Asian Artist 2020," and the honor for AAA's "Asia Celebrity" (singer category.)

Meanwhile, prior to their much-awaited comeback, the premiere of the group's solo reality show "WayVision" season 2 was broadcast on Feb. 22.

The concept of the show is a winter sports competition, showing the seven members' fun and exciting activities that will surely heat up the fans in the chilly weather.

The second episode was officially dropped on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 6:00 p.m. Fans can watch the whole episode through the Seezn application.

Preorders for WayV's "Kick Back" began for online and offline music stores on Feb. 23.

NCT 127 "LOVEHOLIC" Tops Oricon Weekly and Daily Album Charts

Aside from WayV, the other sub-unit of Neo-culture technology, NCT 127, is establishing its popularity globally, particularly in Japan after releasing "LOVEHOLIC."

According to SM Entertainment on Feb. 23, NCT 127's second mini-album "LOVEHOLIC," released on Feb. 17, ranked first on Oricon's "Weekly Album" chart following the Oricon "Daily Album" chart. SM Entertainment said, "In particular, this is the first time that NCT 127 has topped Oricon's "Weekly Album" chart, and it shows the status of NCT 127 even higher in Japan."

In addition, the album topped the Billboard Japan "Top Album Sales" Chart, along with its No. 1 place in Japan's "Line Music Daily" ranking, "Rakuten Music" real-time ranking, and first place in 11 regions on iTunes "Top Album" Chart.

NCT 127's album "LOVEHOLIC" features six songs, including the intense attractive title track "Gimme Gimme."
