SHINee has officially made their comeback with the release of the "Don't Call Me" album. Members of the SHINee World, more often called SHAWOLs, instantly showed their love and support to Lee Taemin, Choi Minho, Key, and Onew.
SHINee Dominates Music Charts with 'Don't Call Me' Album
On Monday, March 1, it was revealed that the seventh album of SHINee has started making waves in the music charts and platforms. As a matter of fact, their latest EP ranked No. 1 on Synnara and Hanteo's weekly album chart.
If that is not enough, the "Don't Call Me" album of SHINee also ranked on iTunes Top Album chart in 47 countries worldwide, including Canada, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, and the Philippines. It even dominated, placing at No. 1 spot, on the QQ and Kuwo Music charts in China, and Line Music Top 100 chart in Japan.

For starters, the "Don't Call Me" album serves as the first comeback of SHINee as a group more than two years since Minho, Key, and Onew were discharged from their mandatory military service. The carrier single of SHINee's newest EP, which is based on the Hip Hop genre, centers on the emotions of someone who was betrayed by his loved one.
SHINee members, in an interview, described "Don't Call Me" as a great song that broke the mold of the tracks they previously released with a single strong punch. The members shared that it is the track that Lee Soo Man, SM Entertainment founder, treasured the most and was also reported to be among BoA's title track lineup.
SHINee Members Express Their Feelings on Their Comeback
SHINee members shared how they felt while preparing for the return to the music scene after such a long time. The quartet stated that thinking about all the activities and promotions lined up for them was really terrifying. At the same time, the South Korean singers were also anxious about what to show their fans - SHAWOLs.
The "Ring Ding Dong" hitmakers stated that they made sure to include new sides of themselves since "Don't Call Me" is their seventh album. Key shared that he had thought of how to share good music with everyone while he was serving in the military. He added that they are going to promote their new set of tracks diligently as they also do.

Onew divulged that he is so happy to be reunited with his co-members after such a long time. The SHINee leader said that all group members were able to create synergy while they were focusing on their own fields of expertise in the past years. He added sharing that he enjoyed it while considering and thinking about a lot of things.
Minho, for his part, said that all SHINee members prepared so much for the release of the album. He further said that he had fun doing all the things needed to produce the music video, including the filming and the meetings to make their output better.
The K-pop idol, however, didn't like the fact that they could not spend quality time with SHAWOLs due to the perils brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
