BLACKPINK remains one of the most talked-about K-Pop groups in recent times. Though it has been months since Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé released their latest album, tracks included in their most recent EP continue to make waves in numerous audio streaming platform and worldwide music charts as of this writing.
BLACKPINK Reaches New Milestones on Spotify
On Monday, March 1, it was revealed that BLACKPINK has already garnered more than 400 million streams on Spotify in 2021 alone. Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé are the only female group to ever made such feat on the said music streaming platform.
Jennie, as a solo artist, got more than 14 million streams this year alone. All in all, BLACKPINK already has a total of 4.7 billion streams while Jennie has more than 288 million streams on Spotify.
In early February, BLACKPINK also broke a record for being the first female group and fastest K-Pop act to ever surpass the 19 million followers on Spotify. "The Album" also made it big on the online audio streaming platform as it was streamed more than 1.2 billion times already.
"How You Like That" by BLACKPINK already amassed more than 381 million streams while "Ice Cream" garnered more than 271 million streams as of late. Other songs of Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé that generated a lot of streams include "Pretty Savage" (199 million), "Bet You Wanna" (90 million), "Lovesick Girls" (182.9 million), "Crazy Over You" (63.9 million), "Love to Hate Me" (69.1 million) and "You Never Know" (54.4 million).
In the "Kill This Love" album, only two tracks surpassed the 100 million streams on Spotify, namely: "Don't Know What To Do" with more than 142 million streams and "Kill This Love," which is the carrier single of the EP, with a whooping 424.9 million streams.

BLACKPINK Earns New Record on MelOn and YouTube
Aside from dominating Spotify, BLACKPINK is also making waves in other music platform like MelOn. As a matter of fact, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Lisa recently joined IU as the only female artists in history to ever spend a total of 20 weeks in the Top 10 MelOn Weekly Chart.
In that is not enough, "The Album" by BLACKPINK was also pronounced as the best-selling album by a K-Pop Female act after it sold more than 1.3 million copies. Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé surpassed the records that BoA previously had for her "Valenti" album, which was bought 1.2 million times.
As of press time, BLACKPINK is also the No. 6 most viewed female artist on YouTube. Taking the lead at No. 1 is Taylor Swift with 21.48 billion views, followed by Katy Perry at No. 2 with 21.43 billion views and Shakira at No. 3 with 20 billion views.
Ariana Grande secured the fourth spot with 18 billion views while Rihanna nabbed the fifth spot with 17 billion views. Beyonce (13 billion views), Marilia Mendoca (12 billion views), Lady Gaga (11 billion views), Selena Gomez (10 billion views) and Adele (9.8 billion views) completed the list.
