When is BLACKPINK Rosé's Solo Debut?
On Mar. 1, YG Entertainment and BLACKPINK's Rosé shared two teasers to their social media accounts. One features Rosé lying down on what appears to be a leather beige couch. Her upper body is covered in lilac-colored fabric. Her name is spelled out in huge, yellow letters. On top of her name is her debut date - Mar. 12, 2021.
In another teaser, we see Rosé standing behind outdoors, in a place that appears to be lit on fire. The fog clouds up the redness of the fire. Behind Rosé is a sign that reads, "No way out / You are now." Though Rosé's face is not seen, we see her silhouette and the bottom of her red dress. Once again, her name is spelled out in big letters. Her solo debut date is below her name - Mar. 12, 2021.

BLACKPINK Members Support Rosé's Solo Debut
Following the teasers of Rosé's solo debut, all of the other BLACKPINK members excitedly took to their Instagram stories to hype up the idol's upcoming solo debut! Lisa shared one of Rosés teasers and revealed that she "can't wait," Neither can the BLINKs, Lisa!
Jisoo shared both of the released teasers. In one Story, she tags Rosé and says in Korean, "Finally!!!" In another Instagram Story, Jisoo once again tags Rosé and says in Korean, "Rosé is coming."
Jennie shared both of the teasers again. In one Story, she tags Rosé and adds three fire emojis, signaling that Rosé's solo debut is going to be straight fire. In another Story, she simply shared the second teaser and tags Rosé. This is notably Jennie's first time updating her Instagram Story since reports came out that she and fellow labelmate G-Dragon of BIGBANG is allegedly in a relationship.

Timeline of Rosé's Solo Debut Preparations
Back on Jun. 2, 2020, YG Entertainment revealed that Rosé was going to debut as a soloist in 2020, following the release of the girl group's first full-length studio albums. However, 2020 passed, and Rosé did not have her solo debut and instead focused on promotions with BLACKPINK. By Dec. 30, 2020, reports started to come out that Rosé would be filming her solo debut music video by mid-Jan 2021. By Jan. 3, reports revealed that both Rosé and Lisa have completed filming the music videos for their upcoming solo debuts.
On Jan. 26, YG Entertainment released a promotional teaser for Rosé's upcoming solo debut titled "COMING SOON," which featured snippets of Rosé's b-sidetrack "GONE." As of press time, the teaser has over 44 million views. Following the release of the teaser, YG Entertainment announced that Rosé would be performing "GONE" in BLACKPINK's first-ever live online concert, "THE SHOW."
