IU Had the Biggest K-Pop Spotify Debut
IU saw the biggest Spotify debut for "Celebrity," garnering over 766k streams upon its release. "Celebrity" was released on Jan. 27 and is the lead single to IU's upcoming studio album "Bylac."
The song was written by IU. According to her company, Edam Entertainment, the song is a cheerful pop song that will energize the listeners. IU herself has stated that "Celebrity" is refreshing and will give people strength.

"Celebrity" debuted at number one on the Gaon Digital Charts and Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. It also peaked at number three on Billboard's World Digital Songs.
(G)I-DLE Had The Second Biggest K-Pop Spotify Debut
Following after IU is (G)I-DLE with "HWAA," which amassed over 553k streams upon its release.
"HWAA" was released on Jan. 11 as the lead track to (G)I-DLE's mini-album "I Burn." It was written and co-produced by leader Soyeon. The inspiration for the song came from member Shuhua, who once mentioned a "winter girl" during a conversation.
"HWAA" talks about the feelings after a break-up and burning away the pain of love, blooming colorful flowers in the cold winter.
"HWAA" peaked at number four on the Gaon Digital Charts and at number five on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. "HWAA" also peaked at number six on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.

ATEEZ is the Boy Group with the Highest K-Pop Spotify Debut
After (G)I-DLE is ATEEZ with "Fireworks (I'm The One)," which saw over 499k streams upon its release. "Fireworks (I'm The One)" was released on Mar. 1 as the title track of ATEEZ's mini-album "Zero: Fever Part.2."
This is quite a feat, as the song was released only two days prior to press time. The mini-album the song is found received over 350,000 pre-orders, beating the boys' previous record of over 100,00 for "Zero: Fever Part.1."

Sadly, member Mingi will not be present for promotions for "Firework (I'm The One)" due to his hiatus from the group. However, his voice can be heard in the song, as well as in the other tracks in the album.
