In the video, "Kids Review K-Pop Star's Career (feat. SHINee)," each SHINee member sat with one kid to look back at SHINee's career, from debut till now. They started with their debut song, "Replay," all the way to their latest comeback, "Don't Call Me."

In their earlier days, the kids called the music old-fashioned, which led the boys to laugh. Some of them were born in 2009, a year after SHINee debuted! There were also kids born well after.

The kid who watched alongside Minho, Na Hae Eun (11 years old), had first mentioned Jonghyun while watching SHINee's first win for "Juliette." This song is special to SHINee, especially for Minho and Jonghyun, as they both co-wrote the Korean lyrics.

Understandably, Jonghyun was extremely moved by the music show win, leading him to burst into tears. The kid next to Minho had asked who the person crying was, and Minho replied, "That is one of our members, Uncle Jonghyun."

They then reviewed SHINee's 2018 release, "Good Evening." The kid Minho was viewing with immediately noticed something was different. "One person is missing!" She commented. Minho acknowledged that one person left. The girl then asked who had left and why they were missing.

"It's Uncle Jonghyun," he replied. He appears to think about what to say before carefully explaining, "He wasn't feeling well. He was a little sick." The girl then replied, "Ah, then he is not a bad uncle!" MinHo agreed and stated, "No, he is not a bad uncle! He is a good uncle!" To which the girl repeated, "He is a good uncle."

On the other hand, Taemin had mentioned to the kid he was reviewing that this was the first time SHINee performed as four members.

In Dec. 2017, Jonghyun passed away due to suicide. His official cause of death is cardiac arrest from inhaling toxic smoke from the coal briquettes burning on a frying pan in his apartment. Throughout his career, Jonghyun openly spoke and sung about his struggles with depression.
