BLACKPINK Rosé's First Single Album Surpasses 400k Pre-Order Copies

The "On the Ground" video teaser of BLACKPINK member Rose also broke records after it garnered 10 million views just 24 hours after its release. The said clip, which was uploaded on the official YouTube channel of BLACKPINK, also got more than 1.6 million likes and more than 177,965 comments. These statistics are expected to increase in the coming days.

For starters, the teaser video showed BLACKPINK member Rosé sitting inside her moving car while donning her purple dress and white-colored fur coat. The "Lovesick Girls" hitmaker appears sad and tired in the early part of the video, which clearly suggests what the "On the Ground" track is all about.

The end part of the clip showed the name of BLACKPINK member Rosé together with the title of her imminent new song and its official release date. A debut poster of the songstress was also uploaded to the official social media accounts on Tuesday, which revealed that Rosé would hold a "COMEBACK LIVE" event on Thursday, March 11.
