Recently, it was confirmed that BIGBANG Daesung is the person behind anonymous YouTuber D'splay, but Daesung didn't waver and plans to stick with his concept no matter what.
On March 12, YouTube Channel, D'splay, which was revealed to be BIGBANG's Daesung personal YouTube channel, released his official statement after the news through a new video.
Aside from funnily denying that he's a K-pop group member, the idol also conveyed his grateful heart to the fans and netizens who are showing great interest in his YouTube channel.
BIGBANG Daesung Played an Interview Skit as KDS Reporter and YouTuber D'splay
In the video uploaded earlier, Daesung played a two-person role as a KDS reporter and YouTube channel operator and conducted an interview skit.
The male idol appeared in the video wearing a red hat and introduced his name in relation to his military class, saying, "This is Hwaaksan Tiger Army Assistant, D'splay."
When the reporter asked him if he's aware of what happened, he then continued, "I was very surprised by what happened today. But I will also use this as a lesson and work harder."
Moving on, the KDS reported asked the most important question, and questioned him, "There are speculations that D'splay and BIGBANG Daesung are one. Do you know about him?"
As a natural comedian, Daesung is not planning to confirm it any moment and stick with his role as he answered, "Of course. I am also a big fan of BIGBANG. It's a great compliment that people mistook me as that person."
Just to be clear, BIGBANG Daesung is indeed YouTuber D'splay, but it seems like the idol is faithful with his alter ego, who is a rookie drummer that is slowly gaining popularity.
In response, fans are saying, "if he says he's not Daesung, then he is not." Along with it, BIGBANG's fandom is also replying that they were also not V.I.Ps, and they were just ordinary people on YouTube supporting D'splay for his drum covers and language educational videos using lego.
