What are the Brand Reputation Rankings?
The brand reputation rankings are an index created through brand analysis to find consumers' online habits and how they impact brand consumption. Analyzing a boy group's brand reputation ranking can measure the positive influence of a boy group, the media's interest in the group, the customer's interest in the group, and the group's communication volume.
To determine a group's brand reputation index, the Korean Brand Research Institute determines the group's participation index, media index, communication index, and community index by analyzing 42,275,234 pieces of big data from Feb. 13 to Mar. 13. Compared to the available 52,820,091 pieces of big data in Feb. 2021, it decreased by 19.96%.
BTS is the Most Popular Group for March 2021
Sitting at number one is BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) with a brand reputation index of 10,922,131. BTS has a participation index of 1,945,152, a media index of 3,964,958, a community index of 2,577,024, and a communication index of 2,704,9974. Compared to their brand reputation index of 12,696,615 in Feb., their index fell by 13.98%.
NCT is the Second Most Popular Group for March 2021
Second place goes to NCT (Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Kun, Doyoung, Ten, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Lucas, Mark, Xiaojun, Hendery, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Yangyang, Shotaro, Sungchan, Chenle, and Jisung) with a brand reputation index of 3,721,997. NCT has a participation index of 229,240, a media index of 1,091,145, a community index of 1,444,799, and a communication index of 956,813. Compared to their brand reputation index of 4,443,291 in Feb., their index fell by 16.23%.
SHINee is Named The Third Most Popular Group for March 2021
SHINee (Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin, and Jonghyun) ranked in third place with a brand reputation index of 3,212,374. SHINee has a participation index of 959,376, a media index of 879,603, a community index of 738,799, and a communication index of 634,558. Compared to their brand reputation index of 1,677,521 in Feb., their index rose by 91.50%.
The Fourth Most Popular Group for March 2021 is SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Minghyun, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) took home fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,684,473. SEVENTEEN has a participation index of 450,208, a media index of 567,914, a community index of 1,002,013, and a communication index of 664,338. Compared to their brand reputation index of 4,183,589 in Feb., their index fell by 35.83%.
EXO is the Fifth Most Popular Group for March 2021
Fifth place goes to EXO (Suho, Chanyeol, Kai, D.O., Baekhyun, Sehun, Xiumin, Chen, and Lay) with a brand reputation index of 1,859,457. EXO has a participation index of 165,880, a media index of 512,451, a community index of 667,359, and a communication index of 513,768. Compared to their brand reputation index of 2,256,513 in Feb., their index fell by 17.60%.
