"Princes of Pop" BTS especially drummer Jungkook captured the attention of music fans due to their fantastic performance for "Music on a Mission"!
On March 13 KST, showcased their relentless skills and talents in the online charity performance "Music on a Mission" held by Grammys MusiCares, which drew craze around the world.
The Grammy-nominated K-pop group shared a sneak peek of their hit track, "Dynamite," which helped them become a candidate for the "Best Pop/Duo Group Performance" title.
Aside from the dashing septet in black suits, the golden maknae of the group, Jungkook, captured the viewers' attention as well due to his incredible transition as a drummer!
BTS Performed "Dynamite" for Grammys MusicCares "Music on a Mission"
Hosted by Music Care, "Music on a Mission" is held every year as a gala show with the selection of "Person of the Year." But this year, it was held in the form of an online concert due to the pandemic.
The entire proceeds from ticket sales will be used to support music industry workers hit by the COVID-19. Along with the K-pop band BTS, John Legend, Haim, Jhéne Aiko, and H.E.R also joined the virtual event.
BTS Jungkook Looks Surreal in Blue Hair while Playing Drums
With this goal, BTS gave their best and sang "Dynamite" enthusiastically. Dressed in black suits, BTS completed an exciting yet elegant performance against the backdrop of the Grand Theater.
In the performance, Jungkook truly made fans swoon with his majestic voice and perfect visuals in blue hair as he starts the song.
However, while RM and J-Hope sing they parts, fans became more amazed when the frame showed the seven members on a platform, and Jungkook playing the drums! Talk about versatility!
Indeed, the performance ended perfectly, and received praises both from fans and the media.

Meanwhile, BTS was named as a nominee and performer for the "Best Pop Duo/Group Performance" category at the 2021 Grammy Awards, set on March 15. The Grammy Award winner will be decided by a vote of members of the U.S. Recording Academy, which consists of artists, lyricists, producers, and engineers from around the world.
Though BTS "Dynamite" has a huge chance of winning, there is still debate if Grammys will finally be opening their door for K-pop acts. Thus, the thrill of whether to win or not are giving the K-pop industry excitement and nervousness for the result.
On the other hand, BTS members RM, Jin, and Jimin, who hosted a V Live broadcast on March 13, expressed their nervousness by referring to the Grammy.
"Grammy is just around the corner," they said. "I've got a lot of messages of support. It would be nice to tell you various back-and-forth situations or behind-the-scenes stories of the Grammy, but it's not easy to tell because it's not on the stage. "
Jimin then expressed, "I have a lot of thoughts. I was actually sad yesterday. I'm so thankful, but I want to perform in front of (the fans) and meet them."
