What are the Brand Reputation Rankings?
The brand reputation rankings is an index created through big data analysis that finds the consumers' online habits and what influences brand consumption. The girl group brand reputation index can measure both the positive and negative influence of girl groups, media interest, consumer interest, and communication volume.
For this month's girl group brand reputation rankings, the Korean Brand Research Institute analyzed 3,383,629 pieces of big data from Feb. 14 to Mar. 14. BLACKPINK is the Most Popular Girl Group for March 2021
BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa) ranked in first place with a brand reputation index of 3,672,760. BLACKPINK has a participation index of 426,808, media index of 979,048, a community index of 1,138,714, and a communication index of 1,128,190. Compared to their brand reputation index of 4,747,078 in Feb., their index fell by 22.30%.
Brave Girls Rises to Second Place + Is the Second Most Popular Girl Group of March 2021
Following their viral fan edit, Brave Girls (Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna) ranked second place with a brand reputation index of 3,556,213. Brave Girls have a participation index of 950,956, a media index of 169,920, a community index of 1,277,679, and a communication index of 1,157,658. This is the first time Brave Girls ranked within the top 50 of the brand reputation rankings.
IZ*ONE is the Third Most Popular Girl Group of March 2021
Coming in at third place is IZ*ONE (Kwon Eunbi, Miyawaki Sakura, Kang Hyewon, Choi Yena, Lee Chaeyeon, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minju, Yabuki Nako, Honda Hitomi, Jo Yuri, Ahn Yujin, and Jang Wonyoung) with a brand reputation index of 2,648,040. IZ*ONE has a participation index of 568,072, a media index of 497,614, a community index of 773,982, and a community index of 808,372. Compared to their brand reputation index of 2,727,082 in Feb., their index fell by 2.90%.
(G)I-DLE is the Fourth Most Popular Girl Group of March 2021
(G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Soojin, Yuqi, and Shuhua) ranked in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,507,360. (G)I-DLE has a participation index of 436,016, a media index of 547,520, a community index of 781,909, and a media index of 741,914. Compared to their brand reputation index of 3,535,118 in Feb., their index fell by 29.07%.
MAMAMOO is the Fifth Most Popular Girl Group of March 2021
Fifth place goes to MAMAMOO (Moonbyul, Solar, Wheein, and Hwasa) with a brand reputation index of 1,896,108. MAMAMOO has a participation index of 116,620, a media index of 200,681, a community index of 766,960, and a communication index of 811,847. Compared to their brand reputation index of 3,230,068 in Feb., their index fell by 41.30%
