MONSTA X member I.M continues to establish his presence worldwide as he appears as the cover artist for the "K-Solo: K-Pop Breakouts" playlist on US-based streaming platform TIDAL.
As its cover artist, songs from his solo debut album "DUALITY" also appear in the TIDAL playlist. It is filled with K-Pop hits from other artists such as Kang Daniel, Park Ji Hoon, Baekhyun, Rose, Soyou, Sunmi, Chungha, Hyuna, and IU.
DUALITY is the first solo release from MONSTA X member I.M, released last February 19. Together with its release is the music video for "God Damn," which serves as the title track for the album. The MV now has more than 3.5 million views and close to half a million likes on the video streaming platform.
A Treat to Their Beloved MONBEBE
Now, I.M continues to communicate with their fans, MONBEBE, through various content. He has recently unveiled a behind-the-scenes special for "God Damn," now available on the Starship Entertainment YouTube channel. In it his tattoos are shown being placed on him, adding that mature appeal to his solo MV appearance. I.M is also working closely with the MV director and although he appears shy behind the scenes, his personality changes once the camera starts rolling - serious, cold, and mysteriously alluring.
"I think the MONBEBE will be shocked because it is a different look that I've never shown before," I.M said in the video. The behind the scenes special also features a small section of a vlog taken by the MONSTA X maknae himself, even featuring a glance of him topless and shooting with a camera. Fans are treated to I.M performing scenes in the music video, which mostly took place in a night club environment located in a basement.
After taking a short break in their vehicle, I.M even took the opportunity to remind everyone to "have bellflower roots and pear juice in winter."
The video special also features the support he receives from his fellow MONSTA X members. At around the five-minute mark, I.M is shocked to find a food truck from Hyungwon. He said upon seeing the food truck, "Tears don't come out because it's so cold but my heart is warm. For real." Furthermore, other MONSTA X members - Shownu, Jooheon, Minhyuk, and Kihyun - also made sure to visit their groupmate in his solo project. Jooheon and Kihyun even shared how I.M, whose real name Lim Chang-kyun, worked harder on his diet and was very careful with regard to his self-care.
