DSP Media's new boy group, MIRAE, has officially made its debut in the K-pop industry with a mini-album titled "KILLA."
MIRAE Releases First Mini-Album "KILLA" and Music Video for Debut
After more than a month since revealing the members through concept photos and profile films, as well as dropping teaser images and videos, DPS Media's new K-pop group, MIRAE, has officially stepped into the world of K-pop. The band consists of seven members, namely Lien, Lee Junhyuk, Yoo Douhyun, Khael, Son Dongpyo, Park Siyoung, and Jang Yubin.

The septet is the company's first idol group in approximately four years since KARD's debut in July 2017, as well as the label's first male group in nearly nine years since A-JAX's debut in June 2012.
On March 17, MIRAE has launched its six-track debut album, "KILLA." Among the songs in the album are "Swagger" and "Sweet Dreams," which were written by member Khael. His fellow member Lien also took part in the lyric-writing for "Sweet Dreams."
Additionally, the new K-pop group's debut album includes a single that is titled "KILLA" as well, and it serves as the title track. MIRAE's "KILLA" is an electro house-genre song that features a bass synth and expresses the ambition and passion of the boys to move toward a new beginning now that they have debuted. The track also aims to provide energy to everyone who will listen to it.

A music video for "KILLA" was shared at the same time as the album's release. The MV not only goes with a futuristic concept but also shows off MIRAE's slick dance moves. Meanwhile, the new K-pop boy group will hold a debut online showcase later at 8 p.m. KST. Fans can tune in to the event via the band's V LIVE channel.

MIRAE Members' Pre-Debut Activities
A month before DSP Media's new K-pop group debuted, MIRAE starred in their own variety show called "WE ARE FUTURE." It was broadcasted via the band's official YouTube and V Live channels, with its first episode airing on Feb. 16.

In each episode, MIRAE members will carry out various missions to acquire objects that they will utilize in the music video for their debut song "KILLA." The idols' daily life and activities were also presented, from learning the choreography of the said track in the practice room to the stuff they do in their respective homes.
MIRAE members have also been featured in DAZED Korea's spring print issue, even before they made their debut.
MIRAE's Upcoming 2021 Activities
Meanwhile, MIRAE will be holding a video call event in collaboration with MAKESTAR to celebrate their official debut with the release of their debut album "KILLA." The video call event will take place on March 20 at 7 p.m. KST.
A total of 30 fans who purchased the new K-pop boy group's mini-album via MAKESTAR will be selected by a draw and they can either have the chance to have a video call with DSP Media's new K-pop boy group or win MIRAE merchandise.
In addition, Lien, Douhyun, Khael, Junhyuk, Dongpyo, Siyoung, and Yubin will appear as guests on Gems YouTube on March 18, 19, and 24 at 7 p.m. KST.
