Stray Kids Teams up with Alesso and CORSAK for a New Song 'Going Dumb'

Stray Kids is set to release a new song titled "Going Dumb," and it will be a collaboration with Alesso and CORSAK! This will be the K-pop boy group's first collab this year.

Stray Kids to Launch a New Song "Going Dumb" with Alesso and CORSAK

For starters, Alesso is an excellent Swedish DJ and producer, while CORSAK is an incredible Chinese singer and a producer as well.

On March 17, Alesso took to Twitter to announce that he will be releasing a new song titled "Going Dumb" today, March 19.

The new song was produced in partnership with the popular game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile.

Alesso also shared in his post that he will be dropping two different versions of the new song and that one of the versions has featuring artists. It was later unveiled that the featuring artists in one of the renditions are JYP Entertainment boy group Stray Kids and Chinese artist CORSAK.

Stray Kids also shared the exciting news with their fans through their official social media accounts. The boy band even revealed a preview of their new collaboration track.

"Going Dumb" will be out at midnight local time on Friday, so it's already available in some time zones like in South Korea and China. The famous Swedish DJ and producer announced via Twitter that more updates are coming soon.

Stray Kids' Previous Release before New Song "Going Dumb"

Stray Kids' last release before their new song "Going Dumb" is the repackage of their first studio album titled "In Life," which came out in September 2020. The repackaged album contains the title track "Back Door," which was composed by the group's producing unit 3RACHA (members Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin), together with HotSauce. It is a fun song that invites the listeners to join the party by entering the back door.

Stray Kids' "Back Door" not only earned the JYP Entertainment boy group music show wins but it also entered different music charts in South Korea and other countries including the United States.

The single was even included on the year-end lists or "Best K-pop songs of 2020" lists of various magazines such as Dazed, Paper, and Time, as well as on Billboard's list.

Stray Kids Gears up for Participation in Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War"

Meanwhile, Stray Kids is currently preparing to take part in Mnet's upcoming competition show "Kingdom: Legendary War," which will premiere on April 1 and will be hosted by TVXQ Yunho.

The JYP artist is one of the six competing groups in the program, with the others being iKON, The Boyz, ATEEZ, SF9, and BTOB.

On March 18, Mnet's "Kingdom" participants performed special stages on the music show M Countdown.

Later that day, Mnet shared a performance film presenting members from each of the six competing groups delivering exceptional performances. The video features Stray Kids' Lee Know, The Boyz's Juyeon, BTOB's Minhyuk, ATEEZ's San, iKON's Donghyuk, and SF9's Taeyang.

Stray Kids will be participating in Mnet's "Kingdom" with only seven members until Hyunjin, who is currently on hiatus, will be allowed to resume his activities.
