PENTAGON Kino joined the long line for fanboys of former 2NE1 Sandara!
The K-pop boy group PENTAGON will be having an appearance on Star TV's entertainment program "Idol League" on March 20.
Prior to the broadcast, a preview was shared on March 19, highlighting the episode's parts that K-pop enthusiasts must look forward to.
Meanwhile, Kino, a member of the group, drew attention as he shows his fan sentiment toward Sandara Park, a former member of girl group 2NE1, which is also one of the hosts of the show.
PENTAGON Kino Confessed to be a Fan of former 2NE1 Sandara
PENTAGON, who finally made their return in the music scene with their 11th mini-album, "LOVE or TAKE," will show their interesting charms as they participated in this week's "Idol League" episode.
In the preview, member Wooseok talked about their title track, "DO or NOT," which fascinated global fans with its captivating concept. The idol then introduced it as "a song that reminds him of Sub Namjoo, a male protagonist of a Korean drama, who say lines such as " You can live with me or not."
When the preview then gives a glimpse of "Speed Talk," where the secret images of the members were unveiled, PENTAGON Kino gave a straightforward confession to former 2NE1 Sandara Park.
In context, the member was asked if who's idol he wants to be friends or close to, and he immediately pointed to the female idol.
Kino then revealed, "The wallpaper of my cellphone was Sandara Park when I was in school."
Kino added that he even loved Sandara Park's hairstyle, which was unconventional at the time. In response, Sandara said, "Now call me your sister, not senior," drawing waves of laughter.
It is expected that PENTAGON will show their strong confidence in the ultra-high-difficult missions as they face success and failures.
The full episode of "Idol League" starring Pentagon, will air at 8 p.m. on March 20.

The music video of the group Pentagon's new song "DO or NOT" has surpassed 5 million views.
The music video for the title song "DOOR NOT" of Pentagon's 11th mini album "LOVE or TAKE" (Love All Take), which was released at 6 p.m. on the 15th, exceeded 5 million views on YouTube as of 2 a.m. KST, on the fifth day of its release.
Previously, Pentagon topped iTunes album charts in 14 regions around the world with its 11th mini-album, as well as topped the real-time charts on domestic music sites with its title song "DO or NOT."
This includes Guatemala, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Indonesia, Colombia, Thailand, Turkey, Peru, Philippines, and Hong Kong. In the K-pop album chart, it ranked first in 11 regions around the world, including the U.S., Russia, Malaysia, and Qatar, proving that it is a global trend group.
The domestic response for PENTAGON's return is also good. Since its release, " DO or NOT" has entered Genie Music's No. 1 spot and Melon 24Hits, and all songs, including the title song, have succeeded in charting in Bugs, showing their fans' support.
In fact, the title song "DO or NOT" is a pop-rock genre song created together by leader Hui, member Wooseok and composer NATHAN, showing PENTAGON's unique charms, which make the song more special.
