In a recent video uploaded to their official TikTok account, SEVENTEEN gave a spoiler of their new Japanese "Hitorijyanai."
On Feb. 3, Pledis Entertainment announced via the boy group's official fan café and SNS accounts that SEVENTEEN will be making a comeback in Japan with a new single entitled "Hitorijyanai." The title of the song translates to "not alone" or "you are not alone."

With a goal to give strength and inspiration, the track is about the courage and determination of young people, as they stand at the starting line pursuing their dreams. It will also convey SEVENTEEN's desire to meet fans in person quickly.
Additionally, "Hitorijyanai" will deliver messages of support not only to CARAT (SEVENTEEN's fan club) but also to everyone who has been affected by the recent occurrences.
SEVENTEEN Excites Fans with Spoiler of New Japanese Single via TikTok
On March 22, the K-pop boy group released a part of "Hitorijyanai" via TikTok to show their eagerness to reach out to fans and meet them again as quickly as possible. The recent TikTok video features members The8, DK, and Jeonghan dancing to the new Japanese single, which sounds refreshing and fun. As of March 23, the clip already surpassed 1.3 million views and 400,000 likes.

To make their Japanese comeback more exciting, SEVENTEEN launched a "#Not alone" campaign on TikTok. Fans are encouraged to post their own TikTok video dancing to the part of the group's new Japanese single. The campaign application period has already started on March 22 and will end on April 30. The boy group will choose some clips from the submitted works and produce a "not alone" music video (special version), which will be released at a later date.

When is SEVENTEEN's Comeback in Japan?
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to return to the J-pop scene with their new Japanese single "Hitorijyanai" on April 21. The 13-member boy group will hold an online fan meeting and talk show for its Japanese fans the following week.
This will be the band's first Japanese comeback after seven months since the release of their second extended play "24H" in September last year. Also, the track will serve as the group's first non-album Japanese single after more than a year since the launch of "Fallin' Flower" on April 1, 2020.

Furthermore, SEVENTEEN's new Japanese single album will also include the Japanese versions of their famous songs, namely "Home;Run" and "Run to You."
SEVENTEEN's Booming Career in Japan
In addition to their outstanding fame in South Korea, SEVENTEEN proves they are an exceptional group with their countless achievements in Japan. Early this year, the group became the only K-pop artist to make it to the Top 10 of Billboard Japan's annual single sales chart with "Fallin' Flower."
Their second Japanese mini-album "24H" received a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan after selling over 250,000 copies. The album even surpassed 450,000 pre-orders. And recently, SEVENTEEN took home one of the "Best 3 Albums" awards at the 2021 Japan Gold Disc Awards.
