What are The Brand Reputation Rankings?
The brand reputation rankings are an index formed through data analysis. It helps uncover consumer's online habits and the impact of celebrities on brand consumption.
The Korean singer brand reputation rankings can show the positive and negative influence of a singer, the media, and the consumers' interest in them, and the singer's communication volume.
From Feb. 27 to Mar. 27, the Korean Brand Research Institute analyzed 121,949,584 pieces of big data concerning Korean artists and determined their participation index, media index, communication index, and community index.
Compared to the available big data back in Feb. 2021 of 12,342,179, the amount decreased by 1.19%
BTS, the Most Popular Artist for March
BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) took home first place once more with a brand reputation index of 12,580,406.
BTS has a participation index of 3,371,295, a media index of 3,071,253, a community index of 3,409,162, and a communication index of 2,728,685.
Compared to their brand reputation index of 13,215,433 million in Feb., their index fell by 4.81%.
Brave Girls are the Second Most Popular Singers for March
Second place went to Brave Girls (Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna) with a brand reputation index of 11,020,770.
The group has a participation index of 6,616,964, a media index of 826,604, a community index of 1,895,693, and a communication index of 1,681,509.
This is the first time Brave Girls has been included in the Korean singers' brand reputation rankings.
Lim Young Woong is the Third Most Popular Singer for March
Lim Young Woong snagged third place with a brand reputation index of 10,238,854.
Lim Young Woong has a participation index of 4,600,365, a media index of 1,304,040, a community index of 2,789,688, and a communication index of 1,544,761.
Compared to his brand reputation index of 8,654,221 in Feb., his index fell by 18.31%.
IU is the Fourth Most Popular Singer for March
Fourth place was awarded to IU with a brand reputation index of 8,460,932.
IU has a participation index of 2,890,834, a media index of 735,155, a community index of 2,731,077, and a communication index of 2,105,866.
Compared to her brand reputation index of 9,656,213 in Feb., her index fell by 12.38%.
BLACKPINK's Rosé is the Fifth Most Popular Singer for March
Rosé was granted fifth place with a brand reputation index of 5,713,100.
Rosé has a participation index of 1,319,155, a media index of 855,108, a community index of 1,798,313, and a communication index of 1,740,523.
This is the first time Rosé has been included in the Korean singers' brand reputation rankings.
