Details on Super Junior Kyuhyun's Upcoming Solo Comeback
According to a report made by OSEN on Mar. 30, Super Junior Kyuhyun is confirmed to make his return with a new solo song sometime in April. However, no confirmed date has been announced yet.
The Super Junior member's upcoming solo song was composed by Kenzie, who has been working as a composer for SM Entertainment's artists since 2002 and had composed many of Kyuhyun's hit solo songs, such as "A Million Pieces" and "At Gwanghwamun".
Super Junior Kyuhyun's "2021 PROJECT: 季"
Kyuhyun first started his "2021 PROJECT: 季" with his solo song "Dreaming".
According to the concept, the "2021 PROJECT: 季" is a series in which Kyuhyun would release singles that represent each season of the year. "Dreaming," which was released on July 23, 2020, represented the summer season.

Following the first single of the project, Kyuhyun released the second single, "Daystar," on Oct. 8, 2020. The song, which represented the autumn season, featured actor Yoo Yeon Seok in the music video.
Kyuhyun released his third song for the project on Jan.26, 2021, with a single to represent the Winer season titled, "Moving On." For the single, popular actor and actress Gong Myung and Chae Soo Bin, respectively, featured in the ballad singer's music video.
With Spring having landed in South Korea, it can be expected that Kyuhyun's upcoming solo comeback would be the final song for his "2021 PROJECT: 季", representing the spring season.
Super Junior Kyuhyun's Musical Activities
Being a multitalented person, Kyuhyun has also ventured into acting and parttaking in musicals. According to SM Entertainment, Kyuhyun was cast as the title role of the musical, "PHANTOM".
"PHANTOM" is a highly acclaimed musical based on the novel "Le Fantôme de l'Opéra" by Gaston Leroux. Having first premiered in 1991 on Broadway, it gained critical success for its combined arts. The musical debuted in South Korea in 2015 and was a box office success, having garnered more than 450,000 audiences from 2016 to 2018.
Kyuhyun was given the role of "Phantom", the titular character who lives in the basement of an opera house. The role will challenge Kyuhyun as a musical actor and will showcase the actor's skills in both acting and singing.
Ticket sales began on Jan. 19 and the musical will run from Mar. 17 to June 27.

Super Junior Kyuhyun's Other Activities
Besides preparing for his upcoming solo comeback and musical activities, Kyuhyun is currently hosting various shows such as, "Mystical Record Shop", "Tiki Taka", and "Famous Singer".
