It's the start of a new month and the early beginnings of Spring!
Dozens of K-Pop idols were born in the month of April. With that, here is a list of notable idols who are celebrating their birthdays and turning a year older.

April 3: Seonghwa (ATEEZ)
Born on April 3, 1998, Seonghwa debuted in 2018 as a member of ATEEZ with their mini-allbum, "Treasure EP.1: All to Zero."
This year, Seonghwa turned 23 years old in international age!
April 4: Eunhyuk (Super Junior)
The Super Junior member born on April 4, 1986 turned 35 years old! He became one of the pioneers for the K-Pop and Hallyu industry along with his group, Super Junior that debuted in 2005.
April 6: Mingyu (SEVENTEEN)
Mingyu turns 24 years old this year! Debuting with SEVENTEEN in 2015 as the lead rapper, vocalist and visual, Mingyu has captured the hearts of many fans worldwide.
April 7: Siwon (Super Junior)
Another member of Super Junior celebrating their birthday in April is Siwon, who also turns 35 years old. Currently active with the group, Siwon has also ventured into acting. His most recent lead role is in KBS's "My Fellow Citizens!" that aired in 2019.
April 8: Jonghyun (SHINee)
Born on April 8, 1990, the late Jonghyun would have turned 31 years old this year. He debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee.
April 11: Karina (aespa)
This year, aespa's Karina turns 21 years old! Born on April 11, 2000, she debuted in 2020 under SM Entertainment and has been rising in popularity after the release of their song, "Black Mamba."
April 12: Sehun (EXO)
On April 12, 1994, super Sehun was born! He debuted as a member of EXO in 2012, and has since then released global hits such as "Growl," "Call Me Baby," "Kokobop" and more.
This year, Sehun turns 27 years old!
April 17: Jinho and Hongseok (Pentagon), Wheein (MAMAMOO), and Ryujin (ITZY)
April 17 is loaded with idols' birthdays! Jinho and Hongseok from Pentagon are turning 29 and 27 years old, respectively this year.
The "Do or Not" singers both debuted in 2016 under Cube Entertainment as two out of the nine members of the group
MAMAMOO's Wheein, born in 1995, is turning 26 years old. Additionally, Wheein will be making her solo debut in April wiith her solo album, "Redd."
ITZY's Ryujin is turning 20 this year. Debuting under JYP Entertainment, Ryujin instantly became a fan-favorite for her amazing dance skills.
April 20: Jay (ENHYPEN)
Born on April 20, 2002 and turning 19 years old this year is Jay!
Jay is a Korean-American who made his debut with ENHYPEN, under HYBE and CJ E&M's joint venture, BE:LIFT Lab, after competing in the 2020 survival show, "I-Land."
April 23: Chaeyoung (TWICE)
Debuting with TWICE in 2015, Chaeyeong is one of the group's maknaes. Born on April 23, 1999, the "I Can't Stop Me" singer turns 22 this year!
Since the group's debut, TWICE's popularity continues to sky-rocket, proving to be one of the best girl groups and influencers in the entertainment industry.
April 26: Daesung (BIGBANG)
One of the kings of K-Pop, Daesung, who debuted in BIGBANG under YG Entertainment in 2006, celebrates his birthday on April 26 - turning 32 years old this year.
He was discharged from his mandatory military service in 2019, the same time as fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang.
April 28: Wonpil (DAY6)
Born on April 28, 1994, Wonpil turns 27 years old this year!
Wonpil debuted in 2015 as a member of JYP Entertainment's rock band, DAY6. Besides taking care of the vocals, Wonpil also plays the synthesizer in the band.
