TWICE along with ONCEs celebrate their 2000 days together since debut, today!
On April 10, the "Asia's No. 1 Girl Group" TWICE celebrates their 2000th day since debut on October 20, 2015.
To commemorate the girl group's special day, the leading Korean news outlet, Star News, even released an article of how the nine-member group rose from being a "hot rookie" to one of the most prominent girl groups in the K-pop scene.
Meanwhile, TWICE who is celebrating their special day received unconditional and warm greetings from their fandom ONCEs through various social media platforms, and the hashtags,#Everyday_with_TWICE and #트와이스와_함께한_2000일의_기억 also trend on real-time searches.
TWICE Journey as "Monster Rookie" to Becoming a "National Girl Group"
In particular, TWICE, which was launched by JYP Entertainment first hailed the start of their dashing career as they set the stage on fire at their debut showcase at AX-Korea in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on October 20, 2015.
The group comprises of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu debuted with their hit track, "OOH-AAH," which truly captured both fandom and popularity at the same time, starting a new era for K-pop.
TWICE, who was selected through Mnet's "Sixteen" had a long way to get through prior to their debut, as some have to wait several years before their much-awaited day and other members also left their families in Japan and Taiwan to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
Undoubtedly, the members' hard work pay off as upon their debut, TWICE swept various rookie awards and steadily grow with consecutive hits, including "TT" and "KNOCK KNOCK," "Signal," "Likey" which sat atop the music charts to its release.
With their outstanding vocals, dancing skills, visuals that are not only seen from one or two members but the nine of them then transcends from being a "Monster Rookie" to a "National Girl Group."
In particular, there are only two girl groups in the K-pop scene which were referred to as a "Nation's Girl Group" and those two include the OG Girls' Generation from second-generation and TWICE, a third-gen group.
Also referred to as "Asia's No. 1 Girl Group," TWICE, which released "Dance The Night Away" after "What is Love" in 2018, has been writing legends through "FANCY YOU", "Feel Special", "MORE & MORE" and "I CAN'T STOP ME"---- which songs were always praised for fitting various age bracket of fans and supporters.

How TWICE Broke Perception to Boy Group's Fandom vs. Girl Group Fandom + Members Greet Fans on their 2000th day
According to the media outlet, there is also an analysis that girl groups have weaker fandom than boy groups; however, TWICE broke that perception.
TWICE album's initial sales ranking, which can measure fandom figures, also showed a steady increase of more than 100,000 copies. The group is also showing off their digital power as they consistently achieved 100 million views for 14 music videos released from their debut to date.
Moreover, TWICE also ranked as the sixth place for the " Most Awarded Group of All Times," last tracked since June 2020. Along with this, the girl group also remains as the girl group with most music show wins throughout the year as of Feb. 2021.
On the other hand, TWICE also shared their grateful hearts to ONCEs who joined them in their celebration saying, "ONCEs, Happy 2)00 days," and "Let's see each other for a long time."
