BLACKPINK Rosé continues to make a name of her own with her first-ever solo album titled "-R-." On Saturday, April 10, the co-member of Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa achieved has added another color to her banner after she achieved another major milestone on Spotify.

BLACKPINK Rosé Continues Making Waves on Spotify and QQ
Reports revealed that the "-R-" album of BLACKPINK member Rosé has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify today. This achievement just made the idol's EP as the fastest album by a female K-pop soloist to ever made the said feat.
Not only that because BLACKPINK Rosé has also reached a new peak on the popular online music streaming platform after it garnered a total of 12,539,674 monthly listeners. If that is not enough, Rosé has also reached 600,000 followers on Spotify earlier this week.
On QQ, which is a popular music platform in China, the "-R-" album was also named as the best-selling album by a female K-pop soloist with over 1.35 million downloads as of press time. Rosé was also listed as the No. 1 best-selling female K-pop solo in 2021 after selling more than 440,000 album copies so far. Coming after the BLACKPINK member are IU and Taeyeon, who sold 375,973 ad 43,235 album copies as of late.
Other idols who made it to the list include Chungha with 31,800 total album sales, Jennie with 18,727 total album sales, HyunA with 17,987 total album sales, Yerin Baek with 13,247 total album sales, Sejeong with 7,664 total album sales, Lucia with 5,931 total album sales and Sumi Jo with 2,000 total album sales by far.
These numbers, including the record made by BLACKPINK Rosé and IU, are expected to increase as more and more K-pop fans discover their music in the coming months. The dominance of BLACKPINK member Rosé on various music charts and online streaming sites worldwide goes to show that she is, indeed, one of the hottest singers there is today.

BLACKPINK Rosé Smashes 2 World Records with 'On the Ground'
Meanwhile, Rosé is among the very few K-pop artists who reached the No. 1 spots on both Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Global Billboard 200. This made her the very first artist to ever reach No. 1 on a Billboard Global Chart as a part of a group and a solo artist.
The official music video of "On the Ground" by BLACKPINK member Rosé was also named the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist. The said clip, effortlessly, got a total of 41.6 million views when it premiered on YouTube on March 12.
PSY previously held the record when his worldwide hit song called "Gangnam Style" gathered more than 36 million views during its first 24 hours. The worldwide popularity of BLACKPINK, including the influence of its members, has helped Rosé broke the record.
As of late, the "On the Ground" music video already amassed more than 140 million views. The clip of BLACKPINK Rosé's first solo debut track also generated more than 7.8 million likes and more than 1.7 million comments.
